I am signing this petition in hope that I could contribute in my own little way in our efforst to help stamp out corruption once and for all. The people are already tired of the promises of the politicians. Shall they remain patient after all these years of false promises? I think the people's patience has reached the threshold level. If they have allowed the thieves in the public sector to rob them of their future, I don;t think they will allow it to happen to their children.
It's a step towards eradicating corruption in our country. Hindi na ba sila nahiya...they are there to serve the people not themselves. I just hope that they include Private Citizens who are impartial in whatever group who may oversee this - para siguradong hindi rin makurakot! Full transparency & accountability. Audit for all expenses, spec "pork barrel" should be made public. Good luck!
It's a staggering thought that a nation so creative and so promising as the Filipino nation, would be brought to such a low estate because of corruption. This proves the scripture verse: "RIGHTEOUSNESS exalts a nation, but SIN is a reproach to any people." (Proverbs)
Corruption happens, and continues to happen, because we are so used to it that we choose to accept it as something normal. We even rationalize our apathy by saying "I'm just being realistic". If realism is what we have in mind... think of the billions of dollars that everyone of us owe. Even the unborn ones owe the world already! Realistic enough? We, most of the time, think that we can't do anything about it. Question is, how do we know if we can stop corruption if we don't even try? You may totally ignore the issue on corruption especially if you eat three times a day. You may choose to ignore because you're not related to the majority of the poorest citizens of this country...let's just hope and pray that your grand children and their grand children will be lucky to have the same fate as yours because you'll never know...
We really need GOOD, HONEST and SINCERE people in the government. Please continue to do something to uplift the flight of the poor families in our country. Maawa naman kayo sa kanila!
Our country is suffering from a grave disease-corruption.People who are in power are the ones pinning down our country to poverty. It's ironic because our country is blessed with so much resources enough for everyone to live a decent life. It's about time we do something about this.I strongly believe that this bill will greatly help solve the corruption problem. The road to solving it is long, but a journey begins in small steps.
Keep hoping and praying for the good of our country. I cant say anything negative now...It wont do any good....(see the poor kid). God bless Philippines!
Our country lacks the will power to really pin down the culprits. These bills should give us hope in eradicating the corruption in the government. Well, that is if we practice the law, do we?
there are times that i would like to believe that this country is hopeless.corruption has been our major issue for the longest time and its tiring.i just hope that the garcia case will open more investigation to everyone in the government who's wealth exponentially increase.this is so ambitious but lets support the bill!
More than a bill against corruption we should have the political will to back it up.
Should these corrupt practices prove treasonous, then punishment should befit the crime. Know what I mean? No more push ups!
I fully support Sen Roxas' Bill nos 1760 and 1761. I salute to gov't officials like Sen Roxas who fight corruption which has been a major part of gov't. officials' life style. It's so shameful to believe that the people we trusted and voted are the people who are fooling us. I am positive that through these bills of Sen Roxas something will happen...Thanks to you Hon Mar Roxas. God Bless you always!
Its about time that our beloved country should prosper but this could only be done we completely eradicate dishonest, corrupt and selfish government and private officials specially dirty politicians
I salute Sen Mar Roxas for taking another step to resolve or cure and eradicate this cancer in the Philippine society, especially in the government as well as many private dealings at the detriment of the citizenry. A few of what I see that are needed are as follows:
BASTA PARA SA IKABUBUTI GO.... GO....GO.
What would you say about a country where justice is for sale, truth depends on what you can afford, and spirituality is determined by your ability to pay? You might say that such a land had sold its soul. When even the moral values of a culture are defined in terms of money, then the society is in deep trouble.

It is time to give the Filipino people what is due to them... I believe that when a bill becomes a law it doesn't stop there. We have to be vigilant about the law, implement it properly. God be with us always!
yes, its time for the filipino to think using their hearts and mind and not only the mind alone...i believed that God will always be with us in all our endeavor..
i do believe dis is d tym for such a bill, it has been in the conciuosness f d filipinos for so many years and yet no we do not make it an effort to prosecute and much less persecute corrupt public officials
I salute Sen Mar Roxas for taking another step to resolve or cure and eradicate this cancer in the Philippine society, especially in the government as well as many private dealings at the detriment of the citizenry. A few of what I see that are needed are as follows:
1- first & foremost, the govt should be resolute in eradicating corruption
2- presence of an implementing agency that is incorruptible itself
3- laws and implementing rules should have teeth to punish those guilty without prejudice
4- availability of clear and specific processes so as to minimize discriminatory decision-making by people in position
5- "do-it-yourself" types of services supported by systems & procedures that could ensure anonymity, security of people who require goods or services (public or private) and people who provide those goods or services
6- systems of punishment to the guilty and rewards to those who prevent or report cases of corruption
7- the citizens themselves, should have a sense of vigilance
Even if we all wish to fight this evil (corruption), this wish will remain a wish if what is written remain on paper or what is spoken remain unheard or proposed actions remain paralyzed.
We have no choice but to stop once and for all the corruption in all levels of government intitutions since it is the last hope to save our dear motherland and the legacy we should leave to children of our children.
I'm in support of this bill by sen. mar roxas. but i do hope this time they get to prosecute and imprison the perpetrators, if they get to catch one. to tell you frankly, most of the senators and congressmen are really stupid (except for the author of this bill i hope.) There's so much to say.......
well...we hafta change for the better future of each and every filipinos out der...lets fight corruption and any bad elements happening in the Phils...aight?!
The Bill is good but I am still hoping that it will be strictly implemented. ;-)
Let us not just hope that this will be one of the solutions for one of the major problems in our country. Let US support these Senate Biils, even in our own little way by signing this petition. Cheers to all!
This is the key to the healing of our country. If my people(those who accepted Christ as their Lord and Saviour),who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and WILL HEAL THEIR LAND(our beloved country the Philippines).Maganda ang bill na ito at dapat nating suportahan.
yeah...let it happen...but the only way we can resolve our problem with poveryt is immersing with the poor, building houses and community to them...this is the responsiblity of all FILIPINO PEOPLE
