This is really a very timely bill. We need this and I want this passed. We already lagged behind our neighbors in terms of economic growth and development. Look at Thailand and Malaysia. Grabe, kung nakapunta kayo sa Thailand galing galing nila talaga. Third world pa rin, pero, makikita mo talaga kung saan napupunta ang pera ng gobyerno nila. Wake up Filipinos!

I support the bill. However it would be good to see that applicable laws will also be drafted and passed that strengthens the implementation of laws/bills that are geared towards POLITICAL DISCIPLINE & at the same time benefits while being consciously aware of political responsibility as members of the Philipppine Goverment,
its a very good bill which I hope could be implemented because public officials are bound to the public. They should lay their cards before entering public office so that no negative impression will projected to the public especially the "commoners" or the "masa".
I deeply support this Bill by a true patriot of our homeland. During the mark - up, please require that all new and old candidates for public office submit their full dollar and peso worth to the comelec as a financila disclosure requirement in order to certified a candidate. Penalties for non-compliance is disqualification.

Please look into how the practice and application of good governance can eliminate graft and corruption.
Probably tie these bills with the eCommerce Law.
Politicians have miserably failed the Filipino people. I hope this not just another political ploy for self promotion. The hard fact is that trying to fight corruption could first mean fighting your very own neighbours, friends and family. It is embedded in Filipino culture, it is flowing in our blood! It would be very tough… but it can be done. Legislation would not mean a thing without action and strict implementation. Make it your EVEREST Hon. Roxas, and do it like you mean it!
Hope this works, it resulted in the arrest and elimination of some terrorists and KFR gangs. Citizenry involvement almost always produces positive results.
That may not solve the problem of corruption, however, it will definitely warn the corrupt government officials from perpetrating the crime because of te transparency...I just wish, no one will be able to turn the law around.

this has been long in coming. we urgently need to have this bill passed for our, and the future generation's sake. we must stop all the sacrificing that's being done by our countrymen who have been going out of the country to find a living because of the difficult life here that is degenerating due in large part to graft and corruption in government. it is the moral responsibility of the government to provide for the needs of the people and not the other way around. we must all push for this bill.

There should be a "Hall of Shame" registry directory Website, where judicially convicted government employees and officials of Graft and Corruption are posted.
