CORRUPTION IS EVIL.Let us cleanse the politician by stopping pork barrel. Make all government contract transparent. Do away with the attitude,"if he can do it I can do it",
Finally! Our country has suffered more than enough under corrupt officials. It's about time that bills like these are passed to audit these people to prevent further corruption.
Let the passage of these bills signify the Filipinos' collective wish to help heal our Motherland. So many have died to make her free; let many more keep her beautiful.
Goodluck Mr. Palengke! I know from the first time I saw you here in San Pablo City at the residence of Mayor Boy Aquino during election campaign, that you are at the right spot... "A GOOD LEADER"! Mabuhay ka Sen. Mar Roxas!!!!
STOP CORRUPTION, its time for us, FILIPINOS to joined hand in hand in this fight for corruption. yap, i support this bill. MABUHAY ka Sen. Mar Roxas, for initiating this bill.
There are a lot of concerned Filipinos who are already in despair with the situation in the Philippines. Some of them are thinking of outright assassination. Some are leaning towards revolutionary groups. Some are becoming hopeless that things will ever improve in the Philippines. We can submit a million petitions. But if these petitions are not accompanied by the appropriate, concrete, and collective actions, nothing will come out of them. We have become insensitive to corruption, incompetence, looting, and insensitivity among the power holders in the Philippines.
so, who/what's keeping it from being signed...? tax payers like me want to know where our taxes go...and how they are being spent. It should have been signed ages ago...
no corruptions will lead to a better future for filipino people. I'm wondering why politicians are living in a comfort life while poor filipinos suffer to death with hunger and starvations of food and education.
the legitimacy of filipino politicians has been so compromised. hence, this bill is a step in restoring confidence in the phil. political system. mabuhay!
Politicians do your job best for the Filipino people.Baka matapos nalang ang Arroyo administration walang corrupt na politician na makatira sa kulongan.
Senate bill Nos. 1760-1671 are good idea! May this be expedite! Let this be approve for us Filipinos will experience a CHANGE for BETTERMENT in the SYSTEM in our GOVERNMENT...
TO THE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES STOP THINKING OF YOUR PERSONAL INTERESTS!!!YOU'RE THEIR TO BE the instument of new face of government but hey, what are you doing! (except for those who are dedicated to thier task)....
But let's not forget to change first/start in our own selves....
I hope this bill will be implemented as soon as possible. It is too pity to hear that some foreigners only hear/know Philippines when it is associated with as one of the most "corrupt countries". Somebody told me, "Philippines is the nr. 1 corrupt country "in the whole world, isn't it? I told him that his wrong, but accepted the fact that we are one of the countries most corrupt. The worst thing I've heard when an old woman asked me if all the people in the Phil.are living in boxes, in the slum areas, and enz.She added, do you have also tv, hospitals, ref, etc. in your country?. I thought she was finished talking but she added, by the way, the people there cannot provide their basic needs esp. food without asking alms in the streets or digging left-over foods in the trush cans. I did blush hearing all of those comments and deep inside thought that: What a stupid woman! What for IQ level she has!She has no idea how beautiful Phil. is. At that time, I thought she was the most stupid and dumb person I have ever met in my entire life. But on the way home, I have reflected and realized that partly she was right. I could not blame her, because what she knew about Phil. was based on what she saw in the TV being shown here abroad. On the other hand, it is heartbreaking to think that public servants who has been elected BY the people to serve FOR the people has forgotten that THEY are the INSTRUMENTS for the CHANGES,for the IMPROVEMENT and to work very hard to eradicate corruption. It is even too scary to think that some public servants TO BE, are aspiring to run for a position in the politics, with the hope that when he/she is elected would have all the access for corrupt practices. Deep inside am wondering what Filipinos think, esp. public servants, when saying: I am proud to be a Filipino or everytime when they (we) are singing the Pambansang awit, Lupang Hinirang, or when taking the oath that they (we) would be honest in serving the cou
Before it is too late, let us clean the government of corruption. People are getting tired of this abuse. Let transparency in government services be a part of fighting corruption with the help of computers.
This is great. An eye opener. Bold action is the essence here not words. If this will continue to prosper I will comeback to the Philippines and will try hard to contribute to the economy by investing there.
This should be implemented! I agree to Mr. E. Cavizo. These corrupt politicians are professional thieves, robbers whatever you may call them. They already have plan A, B, C so on... before they get into this “public service business”. And it is with one of those plans to use their family more so their friends as piggy bank. I hope we can also do something about it. This country cannot afford to have another corrupt official anymore. Anybody who will try to stop this bill is GUILTY!!! Why not agree if there’s nothing to hide anyway.
I fully support passage of these biulls. Hoiwever, may I suggest that initiatives taken during the administration of Pres. Ramos on Integrity Circles be studied by the Senator? There have been efforts toward this end and there are executive orders, proclamations and existing laws intended to curb and even eradicate corruption. It is a propblem that is deeply rooted in our systems and in our governance. It seems it is not the priority of this administration to weed out corrupt officials, it keeps on appointing persons with questionable integrity and whose idea of service is to one's self first before others.
implementation is the key. we have good laws but lacks proper implementation. those greedy and corrupt officials in the government will eventually come up with something to get away with this thus lets be vigilant.
Best of luck to all of us Filipinos. I pray we all work for the common good and may our leaders always champion the populace towards the same benevolent end.
Mabuhay ang Pilipino!
