in th emidst of all these crises we're in, both bills gave us something to look forward to. Di nawala ang paniniwala nating mga Pilipino na tay ang dapat magkaisa tungo sa mgandang bukas!
at the very least for my future grandchildren, great grandchildren even (if i will be fortunate to survive all the stresses accompanying a God forsaken land) - for a better place to live in..
I hope that the approval of these senate bills be expedite and once approve the execution must be enforced to every official, not to the chosen few only. It's been observed that all those cases against corrupt gov't officials went kaput due to connections... while the majority of the Filipinos are suffering.
Just a word of caution for Bill 1760 as it could infringe into one's privacy. Some provisions or clauses as to when such accounts could be looked into by the Ombudsman might be necessary.
I firmly and defiantly support this bill, and i know everyone who still believes in an honorable society will too. It is about time that something like this has been brought about. It is now up to us, to emphasize its great importance. This could shake our nation, and that is exactly what we need now. i am ALL FOR THIS BILL.
I support Senate Bill Nos. 1760 and 1761, except that I don't agree that the consent of the public officials should be a pre-requisite. Does it mean that if a public official won't give his consent, his bank deposits would be exempt from examination? I propose that instead of getting the public official's "consent"he/she should only be "notified" in writing by the Ombudsman.
I support it!For the better governance of the next generation, cleansing must be done.Implementers and those in the govt. should witness a clean govt. before they can motivate All Filipino people. Cheers to the author! Keep itup!I'm looking forward to its implementation.
Assets and liabilities of any elected or appointed public officials must be open to the people. We the people have the right to know thier net worth before and after they handle public positions.
Our country is very thirsty of our blood donors to survive, but not a BLOOD SUCKER or a VAMPIRE in our society. Please save our Mother land the Philippines for our younger and future generation.I support the Bill No.1760 and 1761 and I salute our No.1 Senator Mar Roxas and the rest of our Blood donors in the Senate and Congress.Let the Philippines be the Pear of the Orient once again and not the Corruption Capital of the world in the near future.
Our country will not move on unless our leader stop thinking only of themselves. Real leaders are suppose to think of their people's welfare first, rather than themselves. If they cannot give up themselves first, then they must give up their post to somebody who deserves it. We dont need leaders who are fluent in english, we dont need leaders who can deal with foreign businessmen alone, we need leaders who knows the real meaning of Public service and who does public service and not private service.
