I definately think that the series has loads of potential in a we executed sci-fi universe. Not to mention I've found the fans of Firefly to be some of the most devoted, and mostly kind n' pretty fans I ever did see in my experiences in fandom. Viva la Browncoats!

The television show, and the excellent feature film, are merely glimpses of the true potential for this wild, funny, and heartbreaking universe. Firefly was born to be displayed in a venue, like HBO; where artistic merit, progressive social themes, and strong emotional themes, are embraced, not feared. We have entered the age of the character driven, story arcing television season on DVD, it is time that the industry stopped looking at this trend as nothing more than a new cash cow and continued to push the boundaries of what we consider art/entertainment.

Joss Whedon's superb sci-fi/western was one of the most entertaining, brilliant, and enthralling shows in recent memory. For it to receive such terrible treatment by Fox was a crime. Please, allow this show to get the chance it never got on Fox.
