I support this petition. He knows nothing about baseball and watching him talk about baserunning during the playoffs makes me wonder if he has ever really paid attention to the games.
Mccarver's day is done. He just does not get the modern game. He still talks about 1933 (during teh allstar game) The fact is both of those broadcasters lack a passion for teh game. Its so dispassionate taht it becomes boring . There are so many good broadcasters out there including Buck Martinez, and particularly VIN SCULLY who does not needa color man. Mccarver has to go.

He's also been known to make comments that have absolutely nothing to do with what's going on in the game or in the booth. Thank God I don't live in St. Louis and have to listen to him for every game.
Tim McCarver is possibly the worst color man I have ever listened to. He is totally clueless, states the obvious, and repeats his statements of the obvious. It's lik me saying: Hey, Manny Ramirez should really swing at strikes and take balls. Not only obvious, but useless. I feel dumber after listening to him!
He lives and breathes to give 0 credit to the red sox, they can do no right in his eyes and he actually roots for the other team during these games, very biased.
McCarver (and Joe Buck) should be fired. They obviously rely on analysis from others during the commercial breaks (playoffs). Ever notice how enlightened they suddenly are about further review after the break, which was obvious 10 minutes earlier. Any rookie commentator could do a better and less biased job than those two.
McCarver has an obvious bias to a certain team in NY and to all of their players as well. It sickens me to hear him ramble on about how they are the greatest team ever and that all the players should be in the Hall of Fame. McCarver I believe goes out of his way to be bias towards that team as well. Have you watched a game on fox while that team is playing? It sickens me to hear him go on and on about that team and leaves the fans in the other market not only offended but angry. as a cub fan I've endured a lot but his time has come. He does not understand there are no longer national umpires and american league umpires. They all come from the same pool. HIS TIME IS PAST!

I support this petition. I am sick of turning on playoff baseball..the greatest time of the year for me and hearing this mouth destroy a beautiful game. Let the game play itself and dont sit there and analyze the hell out of it. I am a Giant fan and the regular season is great listening to Duane Kuiper and Mile Krukow and then playoff time comes and the beauty of play by play is lost at the most important time of the year. UGHHHH Get rid of this dope.
