Doesn't look as though this site is going to get the job done, perhaps the Alumni Association needs to get off their asses and start putting pressure on Barnhardt. Nothing personal, but Tubby is obviously milking this job for all its worth...he knows he's in way over his head. It may be true that good defense helps to win games, but any fool can see, you have to have at least an inkling of an offense. Tubby has none. And actually, his defense sucked this year and last year.More 10 loss seasons, more losses in Rupp than any other coach, more early exits from the big dance, and now taking a backseat to Florida in the SEC, and losing to teams who used to be intimidated by the fact that we are Kentucky. Time to end this BS and get a coach who is willing to take this program back to the top. No Pitino protege', no Tubby handpicking his successor (like Pitino did), I'm with you guys (at this website) but you're gonna have to make much more noise than 54 names, (3) of which are the same person. Wildcat lodge, Rupp Arena, and the Athletic Office need a thourough cleaning out, from Barnhardt on down to Ramel Bradley (the gun), (No-show-Joe) Crawford, (Drowsy) Randolph Morris, Bobby (I only play well in tournaments) Perry, and Sheray (couldn't even start for a high school team) Thomas. Keep the freshmen, recuit some decent kids that want to PLAY basketball for kentucky, hire a halfway decent coach, and watch Kentucky win. I'm sure almost any one of us could win at Kentucky, at least as good as Tubby.

The Cats Pause yearbook state was title "Our Time has Come" and it has for those of us that know UK needs a change. Mr. Smith, please make a decision that is the best for us all and if not the AD needs too!

Kentucky basketball has been a passion since I was a child. It is now painful to watch. Tubby needs to go. As previous poster state, it would be good for it to be a decision agreed upon by Tubby rather than "firing" but irregardless, he needs to go!

Although it would preferrable that his decision to go would be on his on, it is time to make the decision for him if he can't come to the conclusion himself. We are state and need new direction. I live out of state and the great UK ball tradition is being laughed upon. They love seeing our program dropping as their times climb!

Tubby is a good coach that can get you 20 wins a season but thats not good enough for UK. We need a coach that can get atleast 25 or more wins a season. Tubby needs to go.

Tubby was a square peg trying to fit in a round hole when he was hired! His style and lack of "Big Time" success made him a BAD hire. Yet Kentucky was on top, and players were left in place for success. Tubby Smith was just lucky contestant #3, and this game "SHOW" needs to be over!

We've basically got one record left to hold our heads up for and that is having the most wins in college baksetball in our division. If the Athletic Director at UK doesn't wake up soon and get rid of what is the most patheic excuse of a coach North Carolina will have that record before tubby smiths contract is up !!! FIRE HIM NOW

I lived in Kentucky the first 16 years of my life and now live in Florida and I'm ashamed to tell people thats where I'm from because Kentucky is suppose to be known for basketball. I cant believe the Alumni is standing for this and letting this go on. I would rather see Kentucky go on probation for paying players than to be embrassed going to the tournament like this when they get kicked out in the first round! I have tried so hard to support Tubby and keep watching games when I can but it's no fun anymore. I live in NC and I blame Tubby for the crap I have to listen to from ACC fans. I am prepared to beg Tubby to go away. I am so ashamed of what Kentucky Basketball has become.

Time to Scrub the Tubb! Lets get a coach in Lexington who can put us back on top before Tubby completely detroys us.
