We live in a multi-cultural society, by not allowing flags for fear of offending other religions/races you are in fact discriminating against us. I personally would have no problem with any fan flying any national flag. I am not an Arsenal fan, nor a huge fan of football, but I am against this Nanny State trying to appear so politically correct that they in fact cause huge divides.

for a club that claimed certain comments made about the international make up of its team as racist, to ban national flags certainly strikes me as being hypocritical.
but if this flag ban isnt stopped now it could well herald a new area of political correctness madness at football grounds.

Come on Arsenal. We are a huge club with fans all over the world as well as players from all over the world. This is embarrassing and ridiculous. Also how can a club make this policy stick when we are sponsored by fly emirates and one of our other sponsors who advertise on the hoardings on a regular basis is visit Israel.com

Completly stupid, Ive seen the flag that has sparked all this just tell the person they cant fly an illgal flag and thats the end of it. AFC for gods sake we are in one of the worlds best and most advanced stadiums in the world but if you start these sort of stupid rules along with the idea of not liking fans standing at matchs?!? you will quickly ruin the whole experiance for not only Gooners but football fans alike. Surely a club like Arsenal, with a manager like Wenger who campaigns for a 'cosmopolitan' Premiership with no limits on foreigners, should allow ALL national flags in their stadium!!!

This is just plain stupid. I am not British, I lived there for quite some time and I miss it. Again, this is JUST STUPID, it probably came off one or a few idiots that caused it. Sport is becoming to sanitised! I have been going to Arsenal all my life with my flag and i will continue too. 'Small sections' of the crowd. Emphasis on small sections. Have they been at arsenal born and bred? I thought Arsenal backed the policy of no matter what your passport is?!?!? Its just that once you join the club you must hide it....?
Simple - have a word with the one fan who offends and add into policy thay only UN recognised flags will be allowed. A lot of fans travel from far and wide to see the team play and I think the players and the other fans should be proud of that and be able to show it.

We are having enough trouble displaying our flags as it is. Any national flag should be allowed to fly at any stadium. Remove illegal ones by all means but not National ones.
I have been shocked by what can only describe as an appauling decision. Whilst I apreciate the efforts made to create a multi-cultural society, I am outraged by your banning of national flags. Flying national flags has always been an intergral part of football and this nonsensical decision of yours will only inflame the support and has turned the club into an international laughing stock
