I am Welsh and proud of it. I also support Arsenal. So if I want to fly a Welsh dragon with Arsenal written on i I should. I don't have a problem with any other nations flags.

I think it politically correct gone mad, fair enough - ban the illegal turkish cypriot flag but in banning all national flags the Arsenal board are alienating lot of supporters. get this ruling overturned ASAP, football is all about identity and we should have the freedom to expresss our identity at grounds.
Why are the Board supressing our freedom of expression? One day they will fulfill their dream of Politically Correct, Hornbyite, Middle Class cash machines only in the ground. But by then the atmosphere will be killed off totally. Bring back the flags and bring back the passion!
Are we English? Is the Emirates stadium in England?
Then why the hell can't we show some patriotism for our country, or are English supporters of Arsenal now in the minority?
Why is our great football club allowing foreign politics/opinions/prejudi ces to ruin it for everyone else. I'm beginning to feel very disillusioned with the club I love. I fit carries on, I will take the step of being thrown out for displaying a St.George's cross. The P.C. element in this country is tearing our nation apart!!
Please think again on this one, ridiculous! It will only be the Arsenal fans who will be made to obey, the stewards never force the away fans....and it is just causing contempt. When we see them seated in the opposite corner perhaps we will feel happier being forced to sit...but I expect to see their UJ pinned up with pride at the next match and not an orange jacket in sight.
Why not let us take pride in our own country, IN our own country.

This is terrible! As an Arsenal season ticket holder I think its a disgrace to us fans and the club. We are an ENGLISH club, with ENGLISH heritage. How do you think the men of Woolwich Arsenal would feel to think their national flag has been banned from our stadium? That is not racist, never in a million years. I pay £900 a year just for my ticket, I deserve to fly my nations flag if I want to, if anybody is being politically incorrect its MY club for not letting me show Im English.
This is absolutely ludicrous. Political correctness gone mad. I won't be there, but I know a lot of Gooners will be flying their flags with pride at the game against Charlton on January 2nd.

banning flags and banners at ur ground is dispicbale i think htey should rethink and allow all flags in the ground and if someone complains about being offended by a flag they should be told to leave for being a sad politcal loser that is offended by a inanimet object such as a flag
