they should have not banned any flag. but instead have all national flags of the players nationalits around the stadium. making a respectful gesture. rather than doing this which is upsetting

Jonathan Dukes, the disputed flag is NOT of a country. Its of an occupation within a country that was formed on ethnic cleansing. What that flag REPRESENTS is deemed illegal by international law and has many unethical conotations. There should be some common sense on what flags are permitted and what arent. Political gestures should be left out of football.

The decision to ban flags is an over-reaction to an issue raised by a small number of fans. Arsenal is a team full of international players and international fans. The fact that some fans have issues with the flags and national pride of other countries is an unfortunate reality but that should not prevent people from showing their pride in where they are from and who they support. The flags aren't a necessary part of being a fan but they add more color and flair to a club built on being international. The complaints of the few shouldn't dictate the actions of the majority. Bring back the flags. If people complain tell them to get over it. We are proud of our fans and have no right to curb their enthusiasm. If they are offended they can look somewhere else.
C'mon double D sort it out this is sport not politics, freedom of expression and speach next we will banning bad language. Arsenal is a proud club as are the fans let us show our national pride from where ever we come from! The common thing that brings us all together is Arsenal so let us support our team as we see fit.

You should be proud of your national heritage whatever it may be so banning flags from the stadium makes no sense whatsoever,we at Glasgow Rangers embrace our British heritage so why shouldnt Arsenal.
