Disgraceful that these poor birds are put through such hell for a \"delicacy\". Anyone who has owned birds will know that they are intelligent, feeling creatures, and should never be treated in such a fashion. Shame on you if you eat or serve fois gras!!

I cant believe that this world is so cruel - I would like to put the humans (which are all demons) who do carry this incredible disgusting act out - through exactly the same pain - lets let them suffer too - especially their own children and their families - lets see who will be laughing then!
People are disgraceful. Everyday I am deeply sadned by the fact that millions of animals get abused a day for human amusement, food or clothing. All those evil people should be tied to a chair, eyes forced open and to see footage of the suffering of these special beings. They deserve so much more.

I never have, nor ever will eat Foie Gras. In France most shops sell postcards showing these poor birds, firmly clenched between women's knees, with the metal tube pushed down their throats, being stuffed with grain. Obviously they feel no shame or embarrassment in this disgusting procedure. We should boycott France for this as we should boycott Spain for its bull fighting.

Such cruelty is unacceptable, foie gras is not a delicacy it's pure FAT, the people who supply it are not only condoning the inhumane torture inflicted upon innocent animals, they're also ignorantly promoting extremely unhealthy food. The brutal process of force feeding should be banned.

We need to raise more awareness between our friends and family. People need to know the facts. Once hey do, I believe more people will become contientious of this horrible practice and we can have more support in order to reduce it or ban it eventually.
