Kim Williams will not show more than 2 NRL Games in HD per week on Foxtel. He is not even replying on this very issue which shows he does not care about the concerns of his subscribers and the arrogant attitude from Mr Williams. This is in contrast to Kim Williams statement: "FOXTEL's new iQ offer responds to the times with a strong value message which follows close attention to what consumers are thinking and saying they want from television". Clearly Kim Williams does not care what his consumers want.

It is funny that Foxtel decide to show other sport in HD yet when it comes to NRL they do not give a damn. Even Channel 9 is showing at least 3 games in HD - 100% of the games they are allowed to broadcast. Excuses of having only 1 HD truck is not good enough as Channel 9 a free to air channel cope in similar situations.

We pay $10 for the HD Sport and $10 a month for the IQ2 HD decoder and which amounts for over 25% of the total subscription cost. Therefore the cost to watch HD is expensive and real. This is not counting if one decides to add other HD Channels such as HD explore. With subscribers paying so much for their HD content one would expect that Foxtel will deliver more than 2 NRL games per week in HD

This petition is aimed at getting Foxtel to increase the number of HD NRL games from 2 per week to 5 which is 100% and similar to Channel 9. Anything short of this means that Foxtel and Kim Williams fails to deliver on their promise to get "what consumers are thinking and saying they want from television".
