The band Franz Ferdinand appear to be big at the moment. For the musicial aware amongst you, it may come as a shock that some a awful 80s revival band is so popular.

Franz Ferinand compose very simple, boring music. The same repetivie beat is continued throughout the whole song just like all mainstream rock with no change in structure. The lyrics are pathetic at their best.

They got big some one mediocre hit (Take Out Me) and managed to succeed by releasing crappy songs and living off a past 'glory'. Like most mainstream bands, they care more about their image than their music.

Go back to the 80s Franz Ferdinand and take the Strokes and Interpol with you. Rejects from the worst musical decade in history.

First of all, online petitions are waste of everyone's time. No one reads them and they are just a medium for unintelligent white people to bitch about shit that they have no knowledge about. I stumbled upon this "petition" while looking for information to do a report on the band. They fucking rock, and you are just jealous. Franz Ferdinand suck, saw them live at a festival and they were terrible compared to everyone else.They are hugely vain and gay too. Someone should throw a brick at them.

If you actually LISTEN to their songs, then you’ll realize how vibrant and exciting they really are. Songs like Take Me Out and I’m Your Villain are so dynamic that they’re like three songs in one. Alex, Bob, Nick and Paul for life!

I made this petition to annoy a regular here that obsesses with them. The only reason I'm telling you this is to tell you that #2 (George) is a different George. I'm into Indy/Punk and I don't want to be associated with liking crap like DT or Rush. However, The others are better than Franz Ferdinand though (not hard to be harder than FF)
