Lately ever since the anime downloading craze, companies like Cartoon Network, Geneon (Anime DVDs), Adult Swim block, Funimation, and many more companies have gone haywire! It's because the animes being downloaded have been put on TV by them. For most animea they don't care, but it's because "their" animes have been downloaded, so they're mad, because they've been losing money. Here's the ist of their animes.

CARTOON NETWORK/ADULT SWIM BLOCK/FUNIMATION
Naruto: One of the most highly downloaded animes!
The Dragonball series': Highly popularly downloaded
Full Metal Alchemist: Highly Downloaded Series
Yu Yu Hakusho: Some downloads
Bakuretsu Tenshi (Burst Angel): Lots of downloads

GENEON
Paranoia Agent
Samurai Champloo: Every episode online.
Girls Bravo: I see a lot of sites with ep. downloads of this.

My point is that they're overreacting. Downloads of most of these shows had been on the web long before these companies got their grubby little hands on them, and Americanized them. Besides, most people who watch the downloads complain how the size is too small, and that most of the files are corrupted, but the one thing I don't want to happen is if they manage to dub and edit every anime on the planet, and put them on the iPod site up for download for $1.00 each to put on your Video iPod, or something else just as crazy as that, I'm gonna scream! But maybe if you sign my petition, things will change. Because as a hardcore anime fanatic, I wish that animes should stay free to download, and that we could make these dumb companies shut the hell up! If you're with me, than sign.
