please reduce this sentence judge. you must show some mercy. she's cleaned up her act, as she proved recently by showing the media her drug tests showing she was clean of all drugs and alcohol. she's learned her lesson! force her to talk to kids or something helpful. a jail cell isn't going to do anything for her or the world.
Celebrities should NOT get special treatment... Most people in California spend one day in jail for a DUI... Why does she have to spend 6 months!? Violations or not... You gave her special treatment by making an example of her! Shame on you... the judge! Guess you can make your own rules, eh? Just remember God judges you on the way you judge others... Second chances anyone? :-(
It's true. A normal, everyday man/woman wouldn't get that much time in prison. The system is just showing everyday people that celebrities get punished too. But her punishment is way too harsh. They need to worry about putting the rapist, murderers and racism in jail instead!!!
Please do not incarcerate this woman. There are many people who do worse than she has and the law is trying to make an example out of someone who really doesn't deserve to be going through this.
I think our jails could be put to better use housing violent serious criminals. We're not talking Paris Hilton here. This is a real person and the sentence is just too long. Thanks!

I say give her a break! Comparing her (Michelle) from what i read in the above comments , to Paris or Nicole, if they could come off that easily, then why not her, but hey don't get me wrong, we can't allow every DUI case to just fly by, because, DUI places both the innocent and the drivers life in danger! But hey I like M and I think she should be allowed to continue her good work and finisj her kids adventure movie. She sounds like a care giving, warm hearted women, so power to her. Let her be, it is said that every person is a new person every 2 years, and she hasn't had any DUI's reasantly, so minus the jail time and just keep an eye on her

i don't want to pay for someone to be incarcerated for a small crime such as this. We have starving people and wildfires blazing and quire frankly the American People cannot afford to have anymore money taken out of our paychecks!

let her go for god`s sake. There are so many stars out there that have done the same things and have so many duis so why does she have to go to jail for so long. And also during Christmas holidays. That is just mean.
