I think that that sentence is going a little overboard. Maybe drug dealers and serious offenders. Make an exanple out of someone else, someone who really deserves it.
With all of the DUIs of the recent young celebutants who will remain nameless. Why do they have to put such a mean sentence on a young upcoming Hispanic young woman. I'm sorry but growing up in Newark New Jersey myself I have been through the ringer with people judging me. Past mistakes don't make a person, its their present growth that defines their character. I think it is an injustice that she gets so much time knowing that her career is just moving up and they think stifiling her for six months will better her NO!!Needless to say her toxicology shows she is not on anything. She has had a rough life enough to put anybody overboard, but not her she has focused on whipping the toughness out of tough.
I understand that people make mistakes and Ms.Rodriguez has made mistakes but to grant one person 24 hours after putting others in danger and intentionally trying to cause harm to more by chasing them down the street hardly seems fair compared to Ms. Rodriguez 6 months sentence. I think that she should be penalized in some way but not so severe. I'm sure she can hold her own but I think her misdemeanor is not worth 6 months.
I dont understand why Michelle would get 180 days in jail , while the other high profile celebrities ALL got shorter sentences which were less than a month.... FOR THE SAME THING ! Violating Probation. This is unfair and unjust and wrong..
I wanted to say that she deserves a break because she has been trying to change her life! She may not have the connections that Ms. Hilton has but she is a better person than her nonethless. Please judge use the authority that has been given to you to help say to the American public that there is still people with good hearts in our juducial system. Thank You!
