People all make mistakes. Some of us have to learn things the hard way. I believe she has learned this and now she should have the chance to use her appeal that she has to talk to communities about drunk driving. As a star she has the ability to get through to people on a much grader scale, and I think community service would be best for her. I read over some of the other signatures and agree greatly with them. Every time you turn around Paris or Lyndsey are in trouble with the law and they get a slap on the hand. But why is it that Michelle gets so much more. I support her and I hope and pray that she is doing well as she goes through this. Texas sends there love to you Michelle and Texas ask you Judge Mitchell to give her a chance to use her popularity for good and reach out to the publice on anti drunk driving issues.
if paris hilton got off, why should michelle rodriguez have to go to jail. shes has aways been honest and was willing to get it over with in the past. just because she doesnt have hilton money and isnt a white girl,no means to send her anywhere!!!!!
6 months for this is ridiculous. To be honest, I really don't know you especially good, but what I read about you in the above tells me everything. I hope you will be freed from this stupid sentence. But again, because what I just read above, you will surely be strong enough to serve that 6 months, and become a respected artist anyway. Much love from Germany => Rolf
I know every court case is its own but how can anyone not wonder why other celebs Ex: lindsey, paris, nicole,etc..get almost a free pass yet michelle rodriguez gets such a harsher sentence...different set of rules for different people i guess??
This sentence is completely inconsistent with that of recent DUI offences committed by other high profile celebrities. I don't agree with her sentence and I hope it is reduced.
It's kind of unfair that she gets 6 months for drunk driving while Paris and Nicole get punished way less than that just because they are more famous. People shouldn't be treated differently like that whether you have power or not. The law should apply the same for everybody.
I feel Michelle has a drinking problem that she needs to get help for. She should have to do community service not jail! Jail is the easy way out. Just like putting you dog in a cage when you want to ignore your dog. You cannot lock up humans and expect them to change! Wake up legal system! I to have a life long battle with alcohol. I support the fight to keep Michelle out of jail. Give her help and community service first! Make her install a breathe device on all her cars but do not cage her. It will not do her any good or society.
She is the most compassionate human being there is. She does not deserve jail time. everybody makes mistakes we are all human. I am pretty sure she regrets getting behind the wheel. May god be with her. God Bless you Michelle.
If other celebrities get off so easy (ex. Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie, etc.).....Why can't Michelle Rodriguez? 180 days is ridiculous, why can't she do 45 mins. or 4 days like Paris or Nicole?
Please give Michelle leniency. What she needs is help, not hinderance. She needs support not bars. If you read this Judge Mitchell, please take everything into consideration and not just look at Michelle as being
I do support her time that must be spent in jail. However, I do believe there should be room for legitimate leniency.I have faith that you will do the right thing. Hopefully this will teach her a lesson that I hope many will learn from.Best,J. Johnson
michelle is a wonderful person and should be given a chance to use her popularity to help people instead of jail. i have been to jail and you learn bad things and nothing positive comes from jail.
This sucks! 180 days!? That's so un-fair! Look at Britney, Lindsay and Paris! They had like what, 15 minutes, in jail? I do think she should go to jail, but not that long! Maybe 1 week, 3 tops.
Judge Mitchell, Hope all is well. Michelle is a loving and caring individual who tries to protect the true meaning of LOVE. In a world of materialistic love, people sometimes get caught up and forget who they really are. Now, we all know that what she has done is not a good thing. (this could have been fatal) Prison is not the answer for this individual. She clearly has something bottled up inside that's in need of some attention. We know she is talented and caring. Why would she purposely try to throw everything away. This is a cry for help. PLease HELP Michelle Rodriguez deal with her hidden emotions. She needs not prison but, someone real to talk to.Thank You Judge Mitchell in advance for seeing her true self.
