Hey everyone makes mistakes in life. I think Michelle Rodriguez has been more of a positive roll model for women and minorities. Give her another chance and she will be able to inspire more people in an even more positive way. She has only just begun. I truley believe that she has already learned from her mistakes. Reckless driving is indeed a crime that should not in any way shape or form be overlooked by the law, but 6 months seems an extraordinary punishment for the gravity of the offense. When so many real white collar criminals are allowed to go free with a mere slap on the hand, nary a jail sentence, why should the law make an example of this woman, who has, in all probability, done more for society than any politician ever will. 6 months for a DUI is ridiculous, and it, along with many other more extravagant errors of the law, shows what the justice system is coming to. There is a wall in society. On one side, the haves, on the other, the have-nots. In a quirk of logic, the have-nots seem to face the harshest brunt of the law, meanwhile, the cause of the defects in society can be traced back to the extravagent, selfish life-styles of the rich. Every so often, the justice system attempts to prove that the system IS working, by offering up a sacrificial lamb from among the ranks of the famous. Someone people will recognize, and throw stones at, symbolically exacting their own justice on the forces that supress them. Judge, we don't need any sacrifices. We need true justice. Please tear that wall down.
I have been a huge fan of Michelle since Girlfight. I don't think she should be punished to that degree. I mean really she has yet to do anything serious. I dont know Michelle in perso but fom what i have seen she has come from a very ruff upbringing and she has turned her self into the succsessfull person how she is today and that can only reveal a strong comitted amazing person a person allot of people idol and look up to because of that. she may have made a mistake but mistakes are a learning curve towards succsess every inspiring person has made more mistakes then achievmants in their life.
