I cannot explain why this thing happens again and again. I have a proposition to make. Free the dogs and give them all to Ms. Garagouni since she worries so much about them. If it is out of love what she is doing then she will have no problem to keep the seven dogs
Dogs are living, feeling creatures, just like you and me. Treating them the way you do, shows less than little respect. Please set the dogs free. Let them go to a country where they are treated with great love, affection and respect.

We have a former stray dog from Creta over here in Holland. You can believe me he is very happy with us. So ms. Karagouni stop your stupib behaviour once again and let these dogs go to waiting families in Danmark. What do you have to offer these dogs? Nothing but cruelty? Let the dogs go and spend your time at solving your problems in Greece!!
It is happening again over there in Greece. Again this Karagouni bitch is holding the dogs. She did this a few month ago with 57 dogs. At last the dogs were released. Just let these dogs go to there loving homes in Danmark. Why stopping them?? You really do not have anything to offer them, only pain. If you do have brains then use them, now.
Most dogs and cats in Greece are considered vermin and are treated as such by many Greeks. Poisoning animals to get rid of them is an accepted thing for most Greeks so why the authorities should object to some dogs being allowed to leave the country for a decent life is a mystery to me. Perhaps it was a case of someone just doing it to prove they had some power?
What has the world come to?? Keeping innocent dogs away from a brighter and happier future. Don't you officials have anything better to do with your time??? Shame on you!!! Get over yourself and this "power-trip" and let the dogs go to where they are wanted and loved.
To the Greek politicians; please know that this cause has reached as far as Canada and more people will know about it. The Danes are genuine and caring people who want to help these stray animals. They are vaccinated and adopted by screened homes. This is a humanitarian cause so please think of the animals they are helping that so many have thrown away. If Greece cannot afford population control (neutering) or food for the stray dogs, you should work WITH this group for the greater good. There are loving homes waiting for them. As a new dog owner of a Graeske Hunde dog, I am deeply disturbed to hear the allogations made by the Greek authorities. If those dogs are not released, and the charges against the people representing the Graeske Hunde organization, in Greece, are not dropped immeadeately, I will take a personal interest in boycotting everything Greek and I will encourage all my friends, family, professional contacts in both Denmark and the United States to do the same. I will protect my little dog with my life and I am starting to feel the same way about the dogs held in Greece. Am I the only one who wonders if the government official, who chose to withhold the dogs, in Greece has any financial ties to the pounds which are currently jailing OUR dogs!
What´s the matter with the Greeks, you ask ??? They don´t give a rat´s ass for animal welfare, just like most of the rest of southern Europe. You can always judge a person´s character by the way he treats animals and waitresses.
Why do you not solve the problem, instead of turning the blind eye or distorting the truth.

Even the so-called 3rd world countries, for example in Africa and South America, treat their animals with more respect than Greece. The Greek way of torturing and killing innocent creatures in combination with the Greek arrogance stating "we are the best of the world in every respect" is intolerable! Throw them out of the European Union! Boycott them in every respect until they are economically back to the middle ages where their mind still is!

I own two dogs from Puerto Rico where a non-profit saves them and ships them to the US for loving homes. Their situation in PR is much like the animals in Greece...horrendous! I believe this woman is mentally ill and the authorities should be making sure she gets on some medication, not stopping those poor dogs from going to a new, fabulous life. I'm leaving today for Greece, and I can tell you that already I dread seeing the hundreds if not thousands of unwanted, dirty, sick, and suffering dogs and cats everywhere. It is absolutely atrocious and the Greek people (my husband included) should be ashamed of themselves. They have only themselves to blame when the problem can be corrected. I also sponsor a dog via GAR. Please, Greek authorities, WAKE UP! The problem is not other countries, it is YOUR country and YOUR attitudes towards these pitiful animals, such as Ms. K who appears to be suffering some type of paranoid dementia.
To the Greek authorities:
I find it hard to believe that you honestly think these dogs are being used for experiments.
Graeske hunde work as a non profit organization, exporting a dozen dogs at a time, to loving homes in Denmark.
These adoptive families are chosen amongst several interested families, using the stricktest criterias.
I do not believe laboratories, which do not receive large amounts of funding, will use airtransport for the transport of their specimens.
I do not believe that laboratories would go to such extents as to securing animal passports, vaccinations, veterinary checks and certificates.
I honestly do not believe that these animals are better off on the streets of Greece than in Danish homes.
Caring people are waiting for you to stop this nonsense and LET THE DOGS GO HOME!!
Instead of working against these animal rights organisations, you should consider working with them, afterall, the Danish people are helping you with one of your biggest problems.
-Help Clean up the streets of Greece,
-Give the animals a chance of a good life.
-And enrich the lives of the people who open their homes to these wonderful dogs that really need a second chance in life.

As it is common in Greece to mistreat stray cats and dogt it might be impossible to believe that others could care for them - but believe it - not all countries have such poor animal welfare politics! Believe that there are people in other countries that are willing to selflessly care for stray cats and dogs - acknowledge the different custom and culture! And how come Greek lawenforcement has nothing better to do - or is there a hidden agenda seen as it is not the first time this has happened, surely this greek woman must have lost all credibility or???
