Denmark is a very good country were people take care for their pets with love a consideration. And a large number of these people who gets/buy these dogs will provide a nice home for the dogs and they wil be fed properly.
I hope, that these cruel Greeks may all burn in hell where they belong. How can anyone treat another soul like that. I hope they will get what they deserve....

After yaers of abuse, there is finally hope for better life and it is taken away again. Greece should be ashamed about how they treat animals and even abuse the people who try to help these animals.
Is this kind of behavoir worthy of the nation that claims to be the cradle of western civilization? A fellow EU state? I myself have adopted a Greek dog from Andros, she is a loving and gentle creature DESPITE the casual brutality inflicted on her by the people of that island. These animals that were stopped yet again were going to placed in homes with people who would love and look them after. If the people of Greece had basic standards of decency and humanity, charities wouldn't need to transport animals out of the country.

Animals are to be treated with love and care, they have not asked to be born in this world. My family has resqued a greek dog from its misery by ourselfs 6 years ago. She was only 8 weeks old and today she is a very healthy, happy and loving dog. All greek dogs deserve that kind of live.Think about that Greek !
Is Greece a member of the EU??? It's inpossible to imagine how a membercountry can get away with treating animals so miserable... Put Ionna Garagouni in custody and free the poor dogs instead.

Dear God please send me to somebody who'll care!
I'm tired of running. I'm sick with despair.

Whomever this woman is should really be ashamed of herself. If these poor dogs had homes, why does she care? Obviously, she is a very uncivilized person and really needs to take some lessons not only in rights for the animals, but for those who had to endure time in a jail for her malicious behaviour! Obviously, her, along with her co-conspiritors should really be ashamed of themselves. Believe me, more and more Canadians are finding out about these disguisting people who are obviously uneducated. I will make sure that more people are aware of this here. Don't expect us to be visiting Greece anytime soon.....people will be informed of what that country is really about....genociding the innocent victims of uneducated people!

Greece has a horrible policy when it comes to animal welfare, with animals being routinely poisoned, tortured, and abused. The Greek authorities have NO right to now claim to be in defense of the animals in this case. Greece should be ashamed of their record thus far in animal welfare. Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Release these dogs, and do not attempt to further insert your governmental powers in cases of animal welfare and rescue, where you have no right to be!

These dogs have a soul... Please let them have another chance, and let them get a home in denmark, danish people would never use them for experiments, but we take these dogs into our home and hearts for the rest of their lifes...

I have always wanted to visit Greece. However, after learning about the neglect and shameful treatment of animals in Greece, I will not spend my vacation time or dollars there. Greece must change its ways and appreciate its animals. IF YOU, Greece, won't care for the dogs, then FREE THEM!! This is from SAcramento, California, USA. It appears that Greece's monstrous reputation is reaching around the world and could affect its tourism!
Please let the dogs go free and lets stop the rumours about the experiments with greek street dogs. Danish friends of Animals will help with letters and in other ways we can.

Stop sending money to greece till they stop killing the dogs.
This is totally unacceptable behaviour by this woman and the police. What do they have in common that she gets away with this? And why do all those in a position to do something about this woman's actions not react and take action against her! As always, it's the animals who pay the price for someone else's stupid actions!
Why are the authorities interfering with animals being transported to better lives? Between the treatment of animals before the Olympics and this, Greece has a shameful record of animal abuse and its officials obviously care only about exercising power, not common sense and compassion.
When will Greece stop working against animal welfare and instead particiapte in creating better lives for its many stray animals, like a true membercountry of EU should do? Release these dogs and put Ionna Garagouni in custody instead.
It can´t be true. There are people in Greece, who don´t begrudge poor and afflict dogs to go in a better life. It´s a great scandal for an EU-member. Why are the people in southern Europe so barbarous to the animals. They are also creatures of God. Please, let the dogs go to their waiting families.

demand only for EU - money! If greek public doesn't care about their animals, someone else has to care - so the "moneybringin g-tourists" will do that for you!!
You should be glad that there are people taking care of the animals. Normaly it`s your job. Think about the tourist`s. A lot of them will never come back to greek if they read oftener a story like this.
