The Greek government should act by law 3170/2003 (includes sterilisation of stray animals).
I feel sorry about these 7 dogs and stopping their transport is another stupid thing. But beside these 7 dogs Greece is filled with strays who needs help. I think that sterilisation on great scale is the only way to do something about the suffering. It's not possible to transport every stray to another country, that's not a solution.
What is going wrong here?? No one i Greece wants these dogs anyway! Send them to loving and caring homes in Denmark now!!! For ones in your live - think with your heart!
What is happening! Why the Greece want to keep the animals they treat like trash? For their own pride and joy?!? I don't think so! Get a grip! Grow up! Release the dogs! You will loose a lot og tourists if you keep on hurting the animals or behave like children!!

I can´t believe it!!! Are the Greek authorities really that stupid?? What is there aim? It is criminal what is going on in Greece and how they treat people who try to help animals.Free those dogs and do it fast! I cannot imagine how Greece will ever get rid of this bad bad name they make through the press, television etc. Soon no one will ever visit Greece again, only to help animals,Greek people should think of that...Mrs Garagouni is the first one that should go to prison, that is the only place where such a thing belongs to ( I do not want to call her person, because she is not a human being!).
I don´t understand this theatre, every step of the dogs that were taken to other conutries can be shown and proved, who still believes those sick lies, that dogs are used for experiments? If someone really wanted to do that, he would for sure not work in a association for protection of animals but go to Polen or where ever and buy them for less money... The Greek authorities are mad-I cannot say it in a friendlier way and it´s time for international engagement from politicians, embassadors etc!
Is Greece realy a modern nation? I think not.When I saw the barbarity with the animals in your country I think the nation is sooner at the stone age. In my mind ilk countrys must kick out of the EU.
I could learn "life" how greek people treat animals. Greece is not a country in which I will no more go on holiday. I will better spent that money for the poor greek cats and dogs.
what an excuse "use for experiments" even if it was true (which is NOT!!) they would still be better treated in Denmark then in Greece. Greek people have no feelings for animals and bring their children up with the same views. Respect for animals and their care should be tought in schools. How can they treat the poor things in the way they do?. Many people will not go back for their holidays to Greece due to Greek cruelty. To stop any animal from getting a home and people to love it is inhuman.

Lucky for her a Danish lady from Graeske Hunde found her and saved this little puppys life. Nicki is now 3 years old and living as a member of our family. Let the greek dogs have a decent life in Denmark.

How can you be so heartless - you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Let the dogs go to loving homes in Denmark, where they are desperately wanted and will be loved. We have a wonderful cat which my daughter saved from starvation in Mykonos and she brought her back to Canada. We cannot imagine life without her. Free the dogs you are holding so that they too can live out the rest of their lives in happiness in Denmark instead of a miserable life in Greece.

Solche Vorfälle sind für mich unbegreiflich. Man fragt sich, was das für Menschen sind.
Das Sprichwort: "Wer gut zu Tieren ist, ist auch gut zu Menschen" trifft hier genau zu: keine Achtung vor Tieren, keine Achtung vor Menschen.
In a burocratic corrupt country there is no way the EU law is followed!!! Animals are things you throw away when not needed anymore so when people want to take really care of them you stop that! Thinking so bad of others shows how they think themselves!
Greece needs to realize that if this practice continues tourists will no longer come to their country to spend money. Let these innocent dogs go to the loving homes they have waiting for them.
