If these dogs were human, would you stop them and send them away? These dogs need homes and love the same way we humans do? Please release them to loving homes!
We had planned a trip to Greece this summer (santorini) but since the government down there are not doing much to make the situation better for the dogs living in the streets, we decided to cancel the trip and go somewhere else.
Once again, the Greek authorities have stopped a group of abused Greek dogs from going to decent, caring owners in Denmark! I have instructed the US Teachers Union to cancel a trip for 200 teachers to Greece at the end of August 2005, and to look into alternative country for a trip for 300 teachers in July 2006. When will the Greek authorities get it into their heads that civilised animal-caring people will not support or spend dollars in a country like Greece, that treats its animals in such a cruel, uncaring manner.
This continues to be so unbelievable. Are we a united Europe now or not ??? So let's treat animals not as things but as creatures that have a right to live just like we claim that right for us !!
Please re-think....let these dogs have the life they deserve....
I know you can find it in your heart to allow these dogs a better life!!!!

Oh, but when will this nonsense finally stop?! When will Greek authorities finally accept that there are actually people out there who respect and love animals, and yes: can take better care of them than the Greeks themselves are willing to?!
You cannot really believe that the dogs will be for experiment- it may be embarassing but in the name of humanity please let them go to the good homes which await them
Let the welfare of the animals come first which should surely be the sole criteria, not the conjuring up of absurd and unfounded accusations against those who genuinely try to help Greek animals in need.
Not again! The animal welfare volunteers of Greece work so hard to help these poor creatures. Where is her proof?? She won't have any, because it doesn't exist. This woman is quite mad.
Greecs do not care at all for their cats and dogs.If they stay in Greece the poor animals will have a horrific life! In Denmark they have a chance to a better life.
The time you captured our dogs I was desperate. Now I am only angry. The only thing I can say is shame on you who dared to do is. The Greek really are very oncivilised people.
This situation is absolutely ridiculous. Equipped with nothing but farfetched hypothesis and anti-foreign sentiment, this woman manages to manipulate the Greek authorities and media. Why doesn't she, and her puppet reporters, go abroad and see for herself what kind of lives these animals are leading?
