I'd like to say that kidnapping the very people who are trying to help you is probably the stupidest thing you can do. You've got enough enemies - they're raining death on you with far superior technology and firepower you can never match. You need whatever Western friends you've got; whatever sympathy you can garner from Western hearts and minds. If anything, good people like the two Simonas' are the ones who can make a difference to you and your people's plight against the mighty American war machine.
Show the world that the muslim faith is not all murder and mayhem by releasing these two innocent young people, who have done nothing to harm the Iraq people or it's faith.
You have taken people hostage who are working against imperialism! They have done what the rest of us pontificate about, that is, to really do something about occupation for power and stealing natural resources. They put their lives on the line to aid victims of the US led occupation. There is nothing sensible or moral about taking them hostage. Please release them unharmed so that they can continue their work.
I was really shocked by the news, because I have also been acting in Baghdad
for
aiming humanitarian aid activities for Iraqi children. And this time I
returned to Japan on the 24th of August. I really hope their safe release, for Iraqi people as well.
I implore you to release Simona Pari, Simona Torretta, Ra'ad Ali Abdul Azziz and Mahnoaz Bassam. They have nothing to do with the war or occupation of Iraq and are good people who have been devoting themselves to helping the people of Iraq to live.
I can understand the anger of the Iraqi people towards the United States and the coalition forces. I, and millions of people in the United States, think the occupation of Iraq is wrong and are deeply saddened and angered that America is dropping bombs and killing Iraqis and ravaging the country; we don't like the Bush administration and its policies either!
If your cause is really to get the US and it's allies to leave Iraq, I do not think that taking the good people of Bridges to Bagdad is going to help your cause, just as the US killing of civilians does not help the US and coaltion forces to gain the trust or love of Iraqis and the world.
There must be another way that people opposed to violence, greed and injustice can come together to try to solve the problems of these troubling times.
We must find another way.
Peace!

Please release these people. They are human beings concerned about their fellow human beings in need. They are neutral, they are friends of humanity.Please.
please release these four individuals immediately and realize the distinction between (civilan) individuals and their government. Just as there are many in the US who oppose the illeagle and horrifying actions of our government in Iraq (and around the world) these two italian woman were acting in defiance of their government's involvement in the occupation and only sought to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Iraq. I beg you to realize this abduction will not further your cause and I pray for peace for the entire region.
Opps! I didn't read the last paragraph.. I support the fight against terrorists, and further more, If these women are killed, let the Wrath begin against all terrorists world wide! This again shows that we cannot bargain with terrorists! They cannot manipulate and dictate the world. Please relase innocent Aid Workers NOW!
Noi vogliamo la pace. Noi sia contro la guerra. Noi abbiamo manifestato contro l'occupazione dell'Irak.
Italian authorities cannot stand cynically waiting the death of 2 women who have actively loved the foreigners and who have supported the brotherhood of men
Free these innocent humanitarian aide workers. We will continue to work toward an end to the US led occupation of Iraq and a just peace for the Iraqi people.

PS: in bocca al lupo...spero che la mia firma sia utile.
The Green Party of Washington says release 'Bridges to Baghdad' humanitarian workers. End the U.S. Occupation NOW ! Full sovereinty and true democracy for the Iraqi people!
These individuals show their love and concern for EVERY Iraqi in the way they live their lives. Please honor them, and yourselves, by releasing them unharmed so they can continue their good works and by their example create a more loving world that honors you, their captors, fully.
Please free these innocent people who are not combatants. They are in Iraq to assist all efforts of Iraqis to own their own country. Their critical voice against the US occupation has been and can continue to be heard around the world, if you release them. Thank you
