I am an Iraqi muslim living in the UK for the last 17 years and, have been following the events in Iraq all these years. It is really sad to hear about kidnapping women in Iraq because this neither muslims' behaviour nor arabs. Our culture and values require us to respect human lives especially the women and children even in war situation. They should read the Qura'n and learn from prophet Mohammed's guidance.
For those who use kidnapping as a card to exert pressure on the American to end the occupation, I would say this is very damaging and will back fire because no human being will accept this kind of behaviour.
I strongly condemn the kidnapping of these two women and demand their immediate release. They were after all trying to help the innocent people of Iraq for ten years.

we have a choice between engaging in actions that enhance life or actions that destroy life. war and occupation destroy life. kidnapping and murder destroy life. these humanitarian aid workers show us a better way. do not destroy them but know that even if you do their example of sacrifical loving action will forever shine in this world.

Please let these women go in the name of some kind of peace. I know the Unite States has damaged the practice of humanitarian rights, however there are many of us who are angered and want to see a change. Please do take your anger out on these young people who simply want peace. I beg you.
Non so se siano state rapite da guerriglieri che non capiscono che le ONG stanno contro i propri governi, o dagli squadroni della morte alle dipendenze di John Negroponte che sono stati addestrati in Israele dagli Usa. In entrambi i casi nulla assolve i governi in guerra dalla loro responsabilità morale per la sorte delle quattro persone rapite. Spero che prevalga il buon senso e che i rapitori, chiunque essi siano, rilascino queste persone il cui unico scopo era fare del bene,
Non si possono maltrattare le persone che fanno del bene. Se qualcuno se la deve prendere con qualcuno allora se la prenda con i militari! Ma forse sarebbero troppo codardi per farlo...
In attuazione dell'art. 11 della costituzione italiana, occorre introdurre nel diritto penale il delitto da parte dei pubblici dipendenti e di tutti coloro che ricoprono un incarico politico, di aver profferito l'opinione che la guerra in qualche momento è opportuna.
