These are true friends of the people of Iraq. They have struggled with all their hearts under the vicious and inhumane sanctions, during the invasion and remained courageously under the occupation. To harm them would truly be a sin under the light of the One.

Please read the Guardian article on-line "Who Seized Simona Torretta?" by Naomi Klein & Jeremy Scahill. It puts these terrible kidnappings in an even more sinister light ~ these people may in fact have been kidnapped because of their opposition to the war in Iraq, and not by regular Iraqi "insurgents", but to show the "insurgents" in the worst way possible.
This is extremely important! They need to be freed immediately! There needs to be an independent indepth investigation to punish the real powers behind this abduction on these workers for humanity. This was obviously done by an organized and powerful entity interested in seeing more chaos and FEAR instilled on the people of Iraq for their own control of this country and exploitation of it.
We are an organization of more than 150 people who lost relatives on 9/11. Our hearts go out to the families and friends of Simona Pari and Simona Torretta and we hope they will be released safely.

These women were not kidnapped by Muslims, there is more to this story. Whoever kidnapped them you are hurting the cause of the average Iraqi and you know it.
