Men in Iraqi uniforms blocking off the street by the headquarters of Bridge to Baghdad?? Men entering the offices of Bridge to Baghdad with stun guns and weapons with silencers on them?? The very same men specifically asking for the two Italian Aid workers?? Sounds like the hand of the CPA in this, or a kidnapping with the blessing of the CPA behind it!! These were not extremists, or insurgents kidnapping these human beings..this is the work of sub-human swine who take their orders from agents of hegemonists. End all war!

One of the 250 000 people who demonstrated against Georges Bush and the coming war in Irak in February 2003. Peace, wealth redistribution and environmental responsability all over the planet are the only way to live in and for human kind and life.

The Italian and Iraq aid workers were doing what each of us should have been doing: seeking to alleviate and to end the suffering of the people of Iraq. If we are fully human we will now put ourselves in the shoes of the Italian and Iraqi aid workers and work daily for their immediate release. If we avert our eyes, we kill what is human in us.

This kidnapping is absolutely infuriating. I doubt any Iraqi resistance group would do this. It would make no sense. What does make sense is for the US to be directing it, carrying it out. It has all the hallmarks of the kinds of "disappearances" the US masterminded throughout Latin America, with people who were truly doing good always targeted for elimination. I hope they are returned to safety soon.
