Publications in the United States should publish the pictures to show support for the Europeans - who seem to be understanding the whole concept of freedom of the press a lot better than our US newspapers do lately.

I agree with everyones right to free expression, the cartoonist and papers for publishing, and anyone who was offened to also air there veiws, but when an "British" muslim turns up in our (All British citizens) country out side of an embassy dressed as a suicide bomber, and nothing is dope i despaire, people have been put in prison for mentioning the word bomb in jest at an airport, yet this man who as one of a large number of "practising" muslims is left un touched. i find it hard to understand a people, who at one minuet are appalled by cartoons in a forign newspaper, and yet drink, have sex outside of marrage and in the case of the young man in question deal drugs, all of which are outlawed in the islamic religion. i feel it a sad state of affairs that such a small thing could open such a can of worms

I fully support this petition. I am a Dane and i can tell you how much this means to our entire country. Each day ARLA, a big Danish/Swedish dairy loses app 10 mio kroner. Almost 2 mio $. Just heard today that our stock market, partly due to some problems completely independent of the crisis, has gone down quite a bit the last two days. Our Prime Minister has been under severe critique becouse some Danes think he should just apologize. Fortunately, i believe the majority of the population supports him. What I find the hardest to accept, is the fact that SOME muslims have spread rumors and lies throughout the Middle East. Fake pictures where brought to show the muslims as well. Really no wonder they got so upset when they where told the drawings were of Muhammed having sex with a minor. I personally will thank the countries which printed these depictings as a symbol of their solidarity.
