4 Feb 2006 - 13:04    Dale Ehrgott : The ****ing death cult of islam can stay in their sand box and start leaving all free countries ASAP!

4 Feb 2006 - 13:36    Steven Kaasgaard : I support this petition. Separating church and state is an important step for newcomers moving from the 7th century cultural backgrounds to the 21st century civilizations of the west. That migration requires acceptance and respect for the culture of their new homelands. It entails enlightening yourself to alot of new rights and freedoms. Freedom of the press is a cornerstone of democracy which the 21st century democracies depend upon. This is why we praise Denmark for its refusal to backdown on this issue of free speech. In a sense every nation which might be expected to stand up for democracy is vitually watching Denmark do the all the difficult groundwork of enlightening non democratic secularist states that their behaviour is unacceptable traits for 21st century nation states. Tiny Denmark has stood up tall for democracy. The world should take notice of who the real caretakers of world democratic rights are. This Muslim furor is over cartoons?? Mature people can ignore levity which makes light of religious topics. Its what makes them funny..Maybe the 7th century lacks what it needs to advance as an acceptable way. Namely no sense of humour. There is nothing rotten about this brave country of Denmark. Leave it to the vikings to defend world principles. It looks like part of the planet at least, has advanced ideologically afterall.
4 Feb 2006 - 14:44    Lasse Christiansen : I support this petition. It is chocking that muslims will react to anything with violence and murder. But what is more chocking is that many countries are reacting politically correct and therefore playing directly into the hans of fundamentalist muslims by suppressing freedom of speech and expression.
4 Feb 2006 - 14:44    George Brian : I will be respecting the false prophet Mohammed just as soon as Mohammedans (all of them, including the "tiny minority of extremists") respect my right to speak and live freely.
4 Feb 2006 - 14:56    Michael Sweeney : I support this petition.
4 Feb 2006 - 14:57    Michael Sweeney : I support this petition.
4 Feb 2006 - 14:57    Michael Sweeney : I would glady condemn these ill-considered cartoons when the Muslims condemn their violence against others and condemn all the Judeophobic claptrap that's become ingrained in their culture. Muslims are going to have to learn that there is no such thing as the right not to be offended and that other people have rights, too.
4 Feb 2006 - 15:00    Kristian Enersen : I support this petition. I hope the muslims will chill out!
4 Feb 2006 - 15:31    Henrik Skytte : I support this petition and as a Dane i really appreciate any support we can get in this matter. Unfortunaly it has been very disappointing to view the lack of support from goverments like the US UK aso. However Petitions like this, gives a little hope that our small country atleast has a few friends our there.
4 Feb 2006 - 15:34    Thomas Downham : I would like everybody here to contact as many media outlets as possible and ask them to bring a copies of the cartoons. As a symbol of support for long time loyale allie Denmark, and to present the islamic world with a united western front dedicated to freedom of speech. I feel, we cannot let little Denmark stand alone and risk it caves in. That would be interpreted as HUGE victory by the islamists, and open up for and avenue of even more ridicules demands. We need this confrontation now, time and demographics are on their side. To the official US, British cartoon no print policy, your short perspective scares me to death. Don´t sign the Munich accord in my name Neville.
4 Feb 2006 - 15:46    Thor Müller Andreassen : We Danes need all the support we can get.
4 Feb 2006 - 15:52    Samuel J. Eraut : I saw the untranslated original 12 cartoons from J-P. I have not found any of their implications to be disagreeable. When members of the Eraut (also spelled Ereaut or Ereaux)family left France because of cruel religious persecution they did not have such an honorable government as yours to protect thier freedom of religious speech. Keep up the good work!
4 Feb 2006 - 16:30    Anthony D. Arndt : supportdenmark.com I support Denmark and all the papers who have stood in solidarity with Freedom of Speech.

4 Feb 2006 - 17:44    H.Balakrishnan : I support this petition because it is time that obscurantism was shown its place-the dustbin! And if we don't crticise Islam, history will only repeat itself.
4 Feb 2006 - 17:46    B. Nielsen : Every newspaper in the free world should print the cartoons on their frontpage. Go www.supportDenmark.com

4 Feb 2006 - 18:39    Martin Brodersen Hansen : As a former longterm soldier in the danish army, I feel very strongly about, NOT letting Fanatic pigs with Kalashnikov´s and rags wrapped over their faces, dictate what people in MY country are alowed to do or say. If you want to fight..I´M READY

4 Feb 2006 - 20:40    Mary Mulvaney : I support this petition.
4 Feb 2006 - 21:15    Tori L. Stordahl : I support this petition 100%, just like I support free speech 100%. These fanatics cannot be allowed to control what is put into print with the threat of violence. If this is allowed, what is next? No matter what the response was from the U.S. government was, the citizens of the U.S. are behind you Denmark! As usual, our government does not reflect what the people feel!
4 Feb 2006 - 21:23    Norman Barrett : I support this petition. I've always wondered how Islamic leaders can get away with saying Islam is a "religion of peace", since whenever anyone criticizes the slightest aspect of the faith, it's adherents go off on frenzied and often murderous rampages. The response to this proves the very points many of the cartoon expressed.
4 Feb 2006 - 21:36    Adam Arnold : I support this petition. Never give in, no matter what.
4 Feb 2006 - 21:40    Freda Saul : I support this petition.
