I have worked with CPT in Hebron (el Khalil), Chiapas, and Colombia. We try to help people in situations of conflict to live in dignity, peace, and justice. We recognize that our own countries are often major forces blocking these longings of the peoples of the world. We identify ourselves as Christian, not in order to propagandize non-Christians, but to identify with the Christ of love, and to call Christians to give up forever the evil Crusader way of thinking. I do not personally know the people you have kidnapped. I DO know that CPTers are people of peace--not the false peace of guns, but the true peace of dialog, repentence, and justice. Please release them, so that they can continue their work to help bring an end to the foreign occupation of Iraq.
