The Baptist Peace Fellowship of North Americam supports this petition calling upon those holding our brothers to release them immediately. They are not spies or affiliated with any government. They are peacemakers who went to Iraq to stand with the Iraqi people, sharing their goals for self-determination and freedom from violence.
Sincerely,
Gary Percesepe

These people are in Iraq because they have a great love for the Iraqi people. They are working only for peace. They are totally against the USA invasion of Iraq and so am I!
I'm very cynical about
the value of petitions, but I am certainly willing to add my signature if there is any chance that such
an action could help
to bring about the re-
lease of the hostages.
I have been aware of CPT for two years. The people are quiet and committed witnesses for peace and understanding among all people. I will be praying for the safety of the hostages and in support of the peace mission of CPT.
These men have dedicated their lives to supporting justice and self-determination for the oppressed people of Iraq and Palestine. I call on those holding them to release them unharmed immediatly, to continue their good work supporting victims of America and Israel's violent occupations.
Tonight, December 2, 2005 is the 25th anniversary of the deaths of the four church women, Maura Clarke, Ita Ford, Jean Donovan, and Dorothy Kazal in El Salvador. Let us join with their memory and tremndous courage in praying for the release of our four CPT workers. Rev. Susan M. Pfeil
Al-Rahman al-Rahim, Please release these friends of Peace. "If they incline to peace, so you must incline to it. And trust God for he hears and knows all." 8:61, "Know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves" 2:194, Save them, save all of humanity in the name of Most Mercifiul Allah the all forgiving
My wife and I have lived in Jerusalem for one year in 1984-1985, and we have been strong supporters of the Christian Peacemaking Teams in both Hebron and Iraq. The CPT in Hebron has done everything in its power to protect Palestinians from the settler terrorists living nearby. And the CPT in Baghdad has worked tirelessly to help Iraqis who have been treated unfairly by the American military authorities.
I urge the citizens of Baghdad, many of you who know the accomplishments of the CPT workers, to lift up your voices and urge the captors to return these hostages.
