I have been deeply distressed by the situation that has been created in Irak ever since the attack by Bush the father.
The depleted uranium that has contaminated the land and brought leukemia to countless children, the insanity of the embargo that has left people impoverished, and the humiliation inflicted on the people who live in a land which has one of the richest cultural heritages in the world (in terms of culture and religion).
There are many Westerners who are very angry at the war waged on your country. We are your friends, not your ennemies, most of us signing this petition.
We have gone to anti-war rallies, we have raged about the mass murder of Irakis, supposedly in the name of freedom, but in fact in the name of oil and profit.
The people you have abducted have helped the West get better informed about the situation.
Please, release them, and show on which side justice stands.
Maybe we can work together for a better future. Maybe you can teach us how to be of service to your country.
