I pray that the Light of God will shine reason and compassion into the minds and hearts of the kidnappers and give them the courage they need to let the peacemakers go.
These people are working for freedom for everyone. They do not support the war and occupation perpetrated by the American government - please let them go unharmed.
You have been deeply wounded. Your country and people suffer. The Christian Peacemakers have worked tirelessly to aleviate a portion of that suffering. They have stood beside you and have brought the terrible atrocities that you have suffered to the attention of the world. They have spoken out against this war in our country and in yours. Please release these men so that we may all find our way toward peace.
There are so many of us working for peace and for the end of the occupation in Iraq. Please let these people go and join us in the vision of creating a peaceful world and unified people.
I feel that as much as we need to pray for these captive men, we also need to pray for the captors, that the Christ whom the captives serve will so shine through them that the captors will be touched and convicted.
to the brave peacemakers I wish to say that their suffering is bringing forward to the world the struggles of peacemakers every where. We wait in hope.
This war has done more harm to Iraq, the US and the world than any other. It will be generations before the pain subsides. We must all stand together for peace and acceptance. Let us Pray for forgiveness for what this administration has done.

The people that have been taken hostage are not the enemeies of the Iraqi, but advocates for their freedom and justice. They are seeking peace for the Iraqi people. They should be released immediately. Sala'am
