Please do not kill those who are trying to bring peace and stop the horror of this war. In the name of the one God, let these peace workers live. There are millions of Americans who are so sorry for this war -- who did not want war and are working to end it and help bring peace.

I find it hard to believe when critically contimplating this event, that this is the work of an 'Iraqi freedom fighting, or resistance group'.
If it is...you must know that this event is justifying the occupation and serving as support for the US and glocal banking propaganda machine. Please release them.
If this is NOT a 'resistance' group..which i suspect is the case, granted the nasty manipulative history of the CIA, then you must also know that not only will this come back on you in the spirit world ( even if you do not believe in such a thing ) but that what ever you have been told by your bossess about these CPT activists that makes you feel justified in doing this is simply untrue. It is ok to deny the orders you have been given, it is ok to say 'NO', For this you will truely be regaurded as a heroe, not a pawn in one of history's deceptive organizations.
They are not spies for on either side.
They are there in response to a drive that transcends political or economic gain. They are real.
I also hope that this event does not suceed in confusing or breaking the solidarity of the Anti-war movement.. This is the only political gain this event can achieve and it only benefits the GOP imperialists and multi national corporate interests.
You make the choice friends...be heroes or be evil doers. If you show mercy and compassion by releasing these people along with a good statement.. the anti-war movement will grow double size over night!! If you execute these people..you will be showing that you indeed are serving US interest!
In the name of all people who agree that the U.S. invaders must leave Iraq, in the name of peace and an end to suffering, please do not take out your justifiable anger on the Christian Peacemaker Team members who are there to work for peace, with respect and love for all. May we all join hands in peace, in prayer, for harmony and for an end to violence everywhere. Thank you.
Innocent people dedicated to peace should not be harmed.

I believe that it was foolish for the peace activists to travel to Iraq at the time of the ongoing insurgency. But I also believe that the peace activists have a right to their protest and a right to keep their lives. So I ask that they be released and allowed to pursue their actions of conscience without fear of death or being taken hostage.
The Peacemakers, some of whom I have met, are consistent opponents of actions like the US invasion of Iraq, and friends to the Iraqi people and all oppressed people everywhere. I implore their captors to release them unharmed.
