I appeal to all peace loving people to release these people.
Last year a peace activist carried a poster bearing a message of peace, love and reconcilliation from our small Oregon town to people in Iraq. It is vital that peace activists are able to visit Iraq and promote peace without personal danger. The peace actiivists must be released unharmed. gp
As a medical doctor in a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon 1982 I witnessed war and mistreatment and killing of prisoners by Israeli soldiers. I believe it is important to treat prisoners correct both from a human point and from a strategic politial point - to show that you are a better human being than those breaking Geneva conventions and basic human principles.
Peace efforts from the meetings in Cairo open up possibilities for an end to US led war & occupation of Iraq. In this spirit of intercultural, interfaith, and international cooperation, please release these 4 who came to Iraq only with respect and helpfulness, attempting to secure the withdrawl of the US from Iraq.
These people are peace-makers and mean you no harm. They are also not part of the political struggle you are engaged in. In the name of the common historical bond between Christianity and Islam, please release the CPT four.

CPT members risk their lives to help innocent people at wars. In Palestine everyday we witness the brave work they do to help the Palestinian People who suffer from the aggression of the Israeli Occupation. The same situation is in Iraq, Afghanistan and in other places. THey are PeaceMakers. They help spread the truth about the sufferings of people under occupation.
We are heart and soul with the people of Iraq. We fought the cruel sanctions, the criminal invasion and the crimes of the occupation. Do not murder the children of Allah who serve the people.

I sign as the president of "A Bridge to Baghdad" NGO. We knew the work of the CPTers in Iraq. We saw them asssiting prisoners, helping injured, opposing the war and occupation. Definitively they are not linked with western governments. Please release them.
I am against the US invasion of Iraq and I have met Kathy Kelly and other members of CPT at anti-war protests in our town in the US. CPT members are jailed in the US for their stand against US militancy. They are your best friends. They spread the word about the US atrocities that would not otherwise be heard by the world. Please release them and let them go back to exposing the US atrocities and trying to help us all find peace.
As a pacifist I pray for peace in Iraq, the withdrawal of foreign troops from its soil, and for self-determination for its beleaguered people.
