Harming these workers will not aid your cause at all. These are PEACE activists, they are hated and despised by the American government. You will do your cause far more good by releasing them and allowing them to continue their work.

These activists are men who have a human conscience and act out of their commitment to peace and compassion for the sufferings of the Iraqi people that have been brought about by the illegal imperialist war and colonial occupation which they oppose. Do not murder those who give selflessly for peace, but support them as brothers in the struggle to end the foreign occupation of Iraq and the suffering of the peoples.
There are many people in New Zealand who support the peace-making work of the CPT, and deeply regret that those who captured them seem not to realise just how much they support all efforts towards peace and justice.
