I can imagine the anger and distrust against all non-Iraqi’s folks in your country. But don’t let your anger prevail over goodness within you and especially the teachings of Islam. Please let these innocent captives free and I will inshallah pray for your forgiveness to Allah SWT.
The work that these brave and selfless individuals carryout to ensure that the voices of the people of Iraq are not silenced is of incalcuable value to all of humanity. Their freedom must not be denied to us.
the majority of the western world supports iraqi freedom fighters against the tyrany of the american empire!!! but do not take your anger out against people who are there to help you!!!
"O people of Makkah! You know the laws of battle and also the punishment of violating a pact. Now, when you are subdued, the Muslims have the right to either to behead you or enslave you. But today, I will tell you the same that Yusuf told his brothers after he was enthroned. Allah has pardoned all of you. Therefore, you all are free. There will not be any bar on your life or property".
This plea will not mean much unless it's also sent to the special ops working in conjuction with our own CIA and Pentagon, responsible for the assassination of hundreds of Iraqis, and possibly our own citizens
Please understand that the four CPT people you are detaining are not missionaries or spies or representatives of any government but private individuals who came to Iraq to do what they could to reduce the horrors of a war they completely opposed and to assist the Iraqi people. They are on the side of Iraqia and never should have been kidnapped. Please release them.
Assalaamu'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarokatuh... To whoever holding the four CPT workers: PLEASE, I beg you, please release them. They are not working against you, they are working to help the Iraqi people and to help alleviate problems caused by wars and violence. May Allah Subhaanallahu Wa Ta'ala opens your hearts and enlightens you with Hidayatullah so that you can release these four hostages. Wassalamu 'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarokatuh.
These people are there to help. Whatever your cause is it is not served by holding or harming those who would help your country. Who come in peace and are against war.
It is in the acts of these brave people that we see the true meaning of peace brought to life. It is with deep respect for these people and their stand that I sign this petition.
those who would hurt the peace makers, hurt god. Those who would help the peace makers would be children of god. Free them, for they are truly Peace makers.
The killing of these individuals would be as immoral as stupid. The United States has no interestes in the lives of civilians other than to use their deaths to continue to stay. As for the moral realm, consult your koran. The murder of pacifists runs counter to anything you pretend to stand for.
Blessed are the peacemakers. Remember they are children of God.Let us lift Him up. Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and ALL these things shall be added unto you. Mt 6:33
As a muslim I wish to reiterate that Islam does not, never has and never will allow injustice to the innocent. Please do not think this has anything to do with a religion of peace
As-salaam 'Alaikum,
I hope by the grace of Allah that those who ar ebeing held captive will be released and that their captives who say who say that they believe in Allah and His messenger will realize that their actions are not condoned by the Qur'an or the Prophet Muhammad.

Having worked in Iraq with some of the most amazing people I have ever met, I trust that those involved in this situation will understand that the role of these 4 men was to bring dignity and happiness back into the lives of the Iraqi people.
I extend my greatest sympathy to the four members of the CPT team held in Baghdad. Actually, I am in Amman, Jordan and very nearly went with the delegation myself. I was pulled off the delegation due to fly on November 22nd but was pulled off the team due to health reasons.
These are good people whose sole mission is to bring peace to the people of Iraq. They negotiate the release of prisoners from Abu Ghraib, assist local people with problems and help with the peace process generally.
I appeal for their immediate release,
Yours Sincerely,
Paul O'Hanlon

Please release these hostages. They are not, and never have been, spies for any government. They are men who have opposed the invasion and occupation of Iraq.
