Please release the CPT volunteers. They come in peace only.
Please know that many in the U.S. do not support the U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq.
We work daily to stop the war on Iraq.
Peace is our gift to each other.
The operative word in CPT is "Christian". Although not proselytizing, the uninformed who have taken these peacemakers are not aware of that -and simply seize anyone and anything with this word.
You think you have something to bargain with, but you don't. US doesn't care and won't trade.
Don't hurt these people- what l know about terrible conditions in Iraq l know from their letters to US.
We are in solidarity with you. We want our troups toleave and your prisoners released.
Please know that I along with many Americans oppose the war in Iraq and are embarrassed and ashamed by what our troops have done to hurt Iraqui people. Pleas free these four people, as they have not harmed anyone. They are working to make sure that ALL Iraquis are treated justly and kindly. Please listen to them and let them go.
These are people who risk their lives to bring the images of injustice in Iraq to us, the common people. Not releasing them is a crime against humanity.
Harming these advocates working for peace plays into the hands of the War Party who will surely exploit any harm done to them for their own evil purposes.
Blessed are the Peacemakers. The three most precious words, after I Love You, are "I Was There"...with the Courage of Compassion, to bear witness and BE the Peace.
This is very un-islamic so i am against it, these people are innocent Christian peacemakers, in Islam they are protected, if these people holding them consider themselves to be Muslim in any way or form then release the 4 CPT workers
CPT'ers dare to risk their lives for peace when so many risk their lives for war. Please allow their story (the story of ordinary Iraqis) to be heard. Please allow them to continue their mission of truth-telling about life on the ground in Iraq. There is no loving, truth-telling God that supports their murder.
Please release these four who are regular people, just like you, just like me. All of us who are the regular people wish for peace on planet Earth, and we wish for no war. I particularly wish that people would follow the golden rule "Do nothing to another individual that you would not also want done to you"...With that said, please make the statement to release these four. Thank you.
I am a long time peace activist and spent two years in Viet Nam opposing the U.S. invasion of that country. I have been a public speaker protesting the U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq.
