I also hope that they realize that one does not have to be from their country to empathise with all that is taking place there, nor does one have to know one personally to have love for them as a fellow human being.

I am an independent journalist, and had the extreme good fortune of working with Tom Fox in Palestine last year. He is an extremely courageous and loving individual, who would gladly put his life on the line to try to prevent violence to those least well-off. He and the other three who are now being held (and we know they are still alive after today's video was aired) are in Iraq to serve as witnesses to peace. Please release them, admit your mistake. It is not worth the cost of killing such brave and peaceful witnesses for peace.
