It is my understanding that CPT workers do not proselitize any religion but only offer humane assistance and aid, in Iraq, to the Iraqi people who otherwise lack assistance and aid.
These are the wrong people, they're the peacemakers. The occupation is wrong, but these are not representatives of the occupiers, they are the opposite.
AS a believer in Jesus' love for all persons and the power to change hearts and transform lives, I pray for the release of the 4 CPT workers and for their captors - that their release can be a witness to the power of non-violence over violence.
We need peace activists. We who believe in alternatives to war and occupation are the ones you need to respect and allow to continue our efforts. Please let them go unharmed.
Peacemakers should be noted for their actions and their faiths. We (Muslims in the US) appeal to the abductors through Allah the Most Merciful (Arrahman Arraheem) to refelct these attributes of Allah and immediatly release the peacemakers.

We ask for prayers of healing and restoration of compassion in the hearts of those holding our friends. We can't help but believe that the taking of our friends was an act of despair brought about by 2 1/2 years of warfare, violence, and bloodshed coming in on the heels of 2 previous wars and years of sanctions.
