These are anti-war, anti-colonialist, anti-occupation peace workers--friends of the Palestinian and Iraqi people. They opposed the murderous invasion of Iraq.
Many people in our country of the United States oppose this was in Iraq.Please don't punish the innocent peace activists who are not really responsible for the terrible ravages of war in your country.Instead,see this as an opportunity to show that you can rise above retaliation and win by releasing those wishing to work at ending this awful war.Allah would praise you for your peaceful approach to this violence.Thank you for considering another way.Sincerely,Ann Brennan
Knowing the work of CPT in support of Palestinian rights and all oppressed and knowing Tom Fox personally, we urge the release of these peace makers. During our annual trips of accompaniment in Palestine we have witnessed the important work of CPT protecting Palestinian children the rights of villagers in At-Tuwani and the concerns of Palestinians in Hebron. This group stands for human rights and continues to work for peace in many places in our conflicted world. Please release our friends.
For God's sake and for the sake of Iraq don't hurt the people who are helping the Iraqi people.They do not represent their governments but work for peace.

As a Canadian anti-war activist, I'm proud to say that we stopped our government from attacking Iraq. We can make a difference when we are united. We must unite our forces if we ever hope to defeat the occupation of Iraq. The CPT are fighting for the freedom of Iraq from the Western armies - killing them only strengthens the hand of the US and its allies. Fight for freedom with these people against a common enemy.
