I met CPT activists in Hebron..no one was more committed to peace with justice then these wonderful people. Please allow them to live and continue their work. Please free them in the name of justice.
In the spirit of unity among people of all faiths to uphold basic human values, respectfully I ask you to reconsider your actions. Ask yourself how this act helps bring about justice of any kind other than more violence.
I believe that, if ordinary Iraqis are involved in this kidnapping, that the prisoners will be released. But-- Is there perhaps some other element involved?
I was part of a delegation to Iraq in 2002. Since then I have worked hard to oppose the wars against Iraq, including the war of occupation. I think these captives have similar hopes for this lovely country.I am sure that they care as I do only for the welfare and well being of Iraqi citizens.
As an Arab and a Muslim, I appeal to those who kidnapped the humanitarian
workers in Iraq to release them.
My support to my brothers the Iraqis in these difficult days had been strong
all along with my family members and colleagues. Kidnapping humanitarian
workers does not advance any cause of peace or a solution for the problems
of Iraq or its occupation.
I do not know how my statetment will reach the Iraqi captors, but I pray to
Almighty God for the safety of the Iraqi people and their friends from
humanitarian organizations trying to relief the sufferings of the Iraqis in
these bleak times.
With regards.

Please release these kind people. I am sorry our country has caused so much suffering in the world. These people are not to blame, but George Bush is responsible.
