The targeting of peace volunteers there to help counter the devastating impact of the US military seems not designed to help the people of Iraq, but rather to further the self-interest of local political factions or other outside interests.
World Opinion is the “other” superpower. We’ve been on your side from the beginning. Don’t turn us away now. These people pose no threat to you. They are your friends. Please release them now unharmed.
I understand it is against Islamic law for Muslims to harm someone who does no harm to them. These peace activists have done no harm to Iraqis. Have helped their cause. Please release them.
Please see that these people are human beings just like all of you & know one deserves to be fearful of their lives.
