Please release these four beings of light working against the darkness that threatens so much of mankind. Theirs is a noble fight and they deserve to continue their brave battle. Please understand that these people are peacemakers. They are only in Iraq to help and not to add to an already tragic situation.
Please consider the mission of these peacemakers -- it is not the mission of war or conquest. Most of the US now does not support this war. Please release our emissaries in peace. Peace be with you.
I have known Norman Kember for many years. He has a real heart for peace and to make a difference for the Iraqi people. Please release him, and the others held with him.
I am a Muslim and request you to release them. It will do harm to Muslims also. You mas be an Israeli MOSAD AGENT and trynig to give bad name to Muslims
My friends:
We have a common bond in our absolute opposition to the imperialist, warmongering of the U.S. corporate press and the Bush administration.
I have some experience in the U.S. anti-war movement. I have worked to establish a world-wide boycott of *all* U.S. corparations - not just the biggest ones - as a means of applying economic pressure to the corporate powers that have made war on Iraq.
The leadership role of various faith-based opponents of war and imperialism in the world-wide struggle to stop the U.S. / corporate takeover of Iraq is well-understood, by both the proponents and the opponents of the war.
I can assure you of this: If you want to make the Bu****e warmongers happy - even *gleeful*, then allow the Christian Peacemaker Teams people to be harmed. The Bu****es hate us in the anti-war movement *more* than they hate you.
Please do all you can to bring about the release of the Christian Peacemaker Teams activists, and to facilitate their continued work on behalf of the Iraqi people.
Sincerely yours,
Patrick Baggott

When Iraq was invaded members of Christian Peacemaker Teams were in Iraq living with ordinary Iraqis, knowing that they could be killed by American and British bombs. God's martyrs are not those who kill, but those who willingly put themselves in harms way as peacemakers. I pray for God's presence in the lives of both the CPT members and for the hostage-takers, whatever happens.
Please release the peacemakers. We are trying to help END the travesty in Iraq. Please don't give fodder to the Warmongers who started this insane war!
The Prophet Muhammad said: Musa, the son of Imran once asked, "Oh my Lord! Who is the most honorable of Your servants? And He replied, the person who forgives even when he is in a position of power" . And we know, Allah himself is Ar-Rahmaan (the Most Compassionate) and Al-Rahim (the Most Merciful).
Whatever the reason and whoever the hostage takers, this action is as wrong as the murder of Margaret Hassan. One doen not cut the hand that is offered in kindness.
