Please release these four men. They are peacemakers, travelling on their own, on behalf of no government. All they want and pray for is peace bor both sides.
I receive the updates from the CPT. I have read the compassionate and loving reflections of the four who have been captured. They are full of love and non-violence. May they be returned to thier families and the people they love.
Your enemies are not these four. They are: Mr. Bush and Ms. Condoleeza Rice, Mr. Dick Cheney, Mr. Donald Rumsfeld, Mr. Colin Powell, Mr. Karl Rove and Mr. Paul Wolfowitz (and their minions, I Lewis Libby, Ari Fleischer, John Ashcroft (replaced by Harvard-educated son of migrant farm workers Alberto Gonzales who called the anti-torture Geneva Convention "quaint"), Richard Perle, Kenneth Adelman, Stephen Hadley, Mr. Zalmay Khalilzad, Douglas Feith, William Luti, State Department spokesman Richard Boucher, and James Woolsey), TX Senator Tom DeLay (the hammer). [Cheney, Card, Rove, Bartlett, Libby and, on foreign policy issues, national security adviser Stephen J. Hadley; after Rove, Golten, Gillespie, Mehlman]
[and watch out for Bill Pryor, ALA Attorney Gen. & "Catholic"], Dov Zakheim, the Pentagon's chief financial officer, as well as American Enterprise Institute's Laurie Mylroie
We now know that a blueprint for the creation of a global Pax Americana was drawn up for Dick Cheney (now vice-president), Donald Rumsfeld (defence secretary), Paul Wolfowitz (Rumsfeld's deputy), Jeb Bush (George Bush's younger brother) and Lewis Libby (Cheney's chief of staff). The document, entitled Rebuilding America's Defences, was written in September 2000 by the neoconservative think tank, Project for the New American Century (PNAC). Not one of these will give a hoot what happens to our pacifist friends.
My friend Harmeet went because of the outrage he felt at what has transpired in Iraq and Palestine. Please do not let their work and efforts to make the western world aware of the actual situation in Iraq be in vain.
Please release these individuals who are trying to build a bridge of peace between our two countries. They are not spies and they only want the best for the Iraqi people. They are working for the day when the American soldiers will go home and the occupation will end. This violence will only breed more violence and will cause the Bush Administration to dig its heels in further. Is that what you want?
Honor true heroism, reject false heroism. Live in truth and righteousness, free your captives so they can continue their generous work on behalf of innocent people.
I wish to say, that the C. P. T. Workers held in Iraq is our friends working in solidarity with the Iraqi people and they are the true friends of the of the Iraqi people. We ask you to let them free, to understand that they are no threat to your society - quite the opposite. Please release our four friends imediately.
Yours sincerely
Ulla Røder
