In Solidarity with the Italian Hostage in Iraq

PWWSD in Palestine expresses its solidarity and support to the Italian hostage who was kidnapped recently in Iraq. PWWSD supports the struggle of Iraqi people against occupying their country, yet it condemns kidnapping civilians and calls upon immediate unconditional release of the Italian journalist and all other kidnapped civilians who visited Iraq to help Iraqi people. On the other hand, we call upon the occupation forces in Iraq to release all the Iraqi prisoners especially women and we deeply condemn abusing the Iraqi prisoners in the American prisons that were opened for the Iraqi people in Iraq.
PWWSD expresses its appreciations of the Italy journalist Ms Giuliana Sgrena who was a close friend of Palestinians and defended the right of Palestinians and Iraqis to get their independence and to free their countries from the illegal occupations.

We call upon immediate release of all the civil hostages in Iraq as well as releasing all the Iraqi prisoners in addition to ending the American occupation of Iraq
Auguro a Giuliana e a Florance di essere liberate al più presto per continuare il lavoro che hanno svolto finora con tanto coraggio. La loro liberazione dimostrerebbe che i veri valori della vita trionfano ancora, nonostante tutto.
America needs to establish human rights as a top priority, but for the obvious reasons and to avoid hypocrisy when attacking the human rights records of other nations.
please release these italian journalists so that they may be reunited with their families and able to resume their jobs in letting the people of italy know what is going on in iraq
