I hate Wal-Mart Connect, it's so cheap like every other thing at Wal-Mart. They didn't invest any money into it so it's a dial-up service that's slow as hell, how slow you might ask, between 45000 bps to 52000 bps. That is nothing compared to other services, I can get way faster service with SBC Yahoo! DSL for $14.95 a month. If I wanted to, I can get Charter High-Speed Internet. For those of you who don't know, Charter is a media company that supplies Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Tennessee with Cable, Internet, and Telephone services. With Charter, anyone can achieve speeds of 3000000 bps, that's 100 times faster than WM Connect. That crappy Wal-Mart service kicked me off the internet a thousand times for no appearent reason. So I warn you not to get WM Connect because it's cheap **** that came out of a coporation's ass that is dated and not worth waiting for it to connect or to improve.

Your all nuts Walmart does not have a ISP its just rebranded AOL. And rebranded Netscape which is just AOL. AOL is a joke and we have all known this for a long time.

I work for an ISP similar to Walmart Connect and I couldn't believe when someone called me up and asked me if our service is comparable to theirs. How can Walmart, the shittiest company in the world have their own internet service.

Walmart connect also sucks. I have tried to cancel my services but have had no luck. Can anyone help with a way to do it and get it done for good?

walmart sucks because the disk you use to set up service turns off by its self then you have to start all over agian then they blame you when they over charge not only one credit card but two. because when you move they make you set up a whole new account but continue to charge the old one . if you call the 888 number they transfer you around and then finally hang up on you atleast ten times. no one there is even american and barely understands english. they don't listen they keep telling you the same thing " your service is on " when it's not. and when you tell them you want to cancel the account they transfer you to the "CANCELLATION" department and then that person tells you that you have the wrong department that you want the "COMPLAINT" department . I think they are all idiots!!! then the best part is when they finally send you to the complaint department you get the same exact operator as the cancellation department. but the first time they can't help you. and every opererators name is melissa. how many middle eastern people are named melissa? i guess only the ones who work at walmart connect.

Hey, stupid. It's AOL dialup that's been branded. What the hell did you expect? Saying it sucks because it's dialup and you expected DSL or cable shows that you're a moron. What exactly do you hope to achieve with a petition???

though its not too slow for DIAL-UP( don't compare it to high speed people) Its Restrictive compatibility( ie No Mac, Linux or even WindowsCE) rescent unstability( don't dare blick, it will kick you off!) and the fact you have to keep the browser open even when you want to use your own browser has me looking for a better option. A cheap price and fairly good speed( for what it is) aren't enough.

I support this petition.I have had a total of 3 emails, 5 phone calls and 3 emails to corporate Walmart (NO RESPONSE) They continued to take my money for almost a year and a half after I cancelled with them.

yes they suck ass i called to get my service disconnected only to be argued with by a gut that barely spoke good english and kept repeating the same thing over and over when all i was telling him was i didn't want the service ne more it took me toi damn near cuss him out and tell him that i felt like he was harrassing me to get my point across and now my friend is going thru the same thing except they are still taking money out of her account!!!
