While G4 might not be the best place to meet smart people, the Social forum doesn't help. It was started to seperate the spammy, pointless crap from the other spammy, pointless crap. Though it worked at first, it now has encouraged it.

There's so many fanclubs and "Bars" it's just plain stupid. Most people from mid to late 2002 have anywhere between 5k and 20k posts. Now people from May to July have as much as 5k posts. Just give them a couple of months.

Do we really care who the forum bartender is or who's the godfather of the Videogame Mafia? No. We just want to post in peace without the run off. Some people never come out of the forum, just FF RP till their heart's desire.

So please, close this forum down.
