Why do people have a problem with video games and think that they enduce violence? Games are perfectly OK and let people let off anger in a non violent way.

Im 16 ive been playing mature games since i was 6 or 7 and i've loved them ever since. Its not the games that make kids shoot other people, its the parents being idiots not teaching them that video games are a source of Entertainment and nothing more! Like the lady who got mad at her kid for playing GTA San Andreas because he was killing random people. Even though she BOUGHT IT FOR HIM!

I got a similiar arguement for one of my petitions, not so similiar though, it's very different. Go to petitionspot.com/petition s/matureyouth to check it out, I hope people will sign it. Yeah, they should stop accusing video games of being evil, they're not. They're the single-most entertaining thing on this planet. I think that it sucks that if there is someone who likes one thing, there's someone who hates that thing, we cannot escape that fact, fueled by the spite of people, that's got to be the biggest thing I hate about this world, even though I like everything else.

I played lots of games with bloodshed and violence but I never grabbed a pistol and went out on a shooting spree. I think people should allow their kids to play mature rated games at an earlier age, the same way I did, so they can adapt to their self-reasoning better, and what I mean by that is they know what's right and what's wrong with the help of a mature rated game and their parent's guidance. Not all video games are bad either, I say the best example for this is any game made by Nintendo (except Killer Instinct).

Games are for the good of the world, noone complains about violent movies, or books. Games are simply another medium of entertainment

people are really stupid to think they promote violence. And its all adults complaining anyway, they need to go fuck them selves if they think that crap is bad. We should all just tell them to go back playing fuckin atari you crazy bastards!!
