We the undersigned citizens of the United States hereby voice our support for Senator Durbin's letter calling for a full investigation of Jeff Gannon/James Guckert.

We further petition Congress that this investigation shall be done openly and in depth, with that investigation not limited to Gannon/Guckert, but extended to include any person or persons involved in these possibly criminal actions, including but not limited to Talon News.

Should it come to light that crimes were actually committed, we further petition for full prosecution of all parties involved, to the fullest extent the law.

I don't care about his sex life... although that makes him vulnerable to blackmailers and spies... I do care that a fake reporter with a fake name and fake military history can walk the halls of the White House. Who is this fellow, really??? Given how insecure Bush is and how thoroughly vetted those "spontaneous" appearances, this lapse of judgement needs to be investigated.

There is absolutely no way that this guckert/gannon situation can be justified and uninvestigated....I don't care what side of the aisle you sit on. If this is allowed to fall into obscurity, there will be no end to what we will have to stomach and suffer. There will be hell to pay come midterm elections as I know democrat, republican and independents who are determined to restore true respect, integrity and honor to this country, come hail or high water. We may be Joe Blow and Suzy Q in Mainstreet American but trust me,whether we live in Indiana, New Jersey, Texas or California, We're sick of the lies, death and incompetence wrapped up in a flag and jingoistic slogans dreamed up on Madison Avenue. This is our country too!!!
