Why has gay marriage been made illegal in some states? When two people love each other, it should not matter their sex, age, color, or race.

Our government is ruled by religion, and no longer is this the Land of the Free. Soon, the governament will be telling us who to marry, when to marry, and things of that nature.

I understand that Christinity says that it is wrong, but not everyone is Christian. Not everyone is a Mulism, or a Jew.

God is kind, and loving. I have a very hard time believing He would send us to Hell for loving someone. As it says in the bible, "No sin is greater then the other." So lying would send you to Hell as well, and no one can say they've never told a lie. God loves us, and he wants us to be happy, and if loving someone of the same sex makes you happy, then why surpress it? God is our Father, and as our Father, he understands.

Please understand that is other people's lives, not yours. What they do should not matter to you, and our government should think of ours rights, and our freedoms, not their religion. Please, help me in supporting Gay Rights, homosexuals are people too. This is the same thing the "United" States of America did to colored people, and they still haven't gotten all their rights back!
